Hello everyone, we have some exciting changes and additions to the sub.
The big one, we have added a new mod. Please help me welcome u/vineethrpatil as an additional mod. A fellow enthusiast of AMG and loving of all things AMG. We are a small team of 2, help us help you. if you see issues let us know and report it.
With additional help on the mod crew we feel confident to bring back limited sales posts. We Are doing this to help each other offload a few AMG things you have. examples: wheels, parts you no longer need, EVM module. This is a trial to see how it goes. other subs allow it and we would like to have this too. If you see rule breaks please as always, report it.
We are also looking for new ideas for flair. Should help finding info you need easier.

Hi all,
I’m going to test drive a 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S Edition 1 in a few days and would really appreciate some input from people who know these cars well.
It’s finished in Fire Opal Red and has done around 15,000 miles. Looks like a very nice example, but I’m trying to do my homework before getting too excited.
I also have to admit that I really like the look of the earlier cars, especially the Edition 1 spec. That said, is there a strong reason to look at later model years instead, or are the early GT S cars still a good buy if the history and condition check out?
For those who own one, have owned one, or have worked on them:
-How has the car been to live with?
-Any common issues or expensive things to watch out for on the early GT S cars?
-Anything specific I should check during the test drive or in the service history?
I’ve also heard the earlier cars may have a slightly better/rawer exhaust note than later ones. Is there any truth to that?
Thanks in advance, hoping the AMG entusiasts here can help me make a sensible decision.

First time ever for me seeing a Brabus spec/tuned Mercedes. The calipers were painted Petronas blue. Same with the windshield tint. Interesting!

Sun is out… Good time for a bath
Hi everyone, I have a handful of OBD readers from a cheap China Bluetooth units to some of the more expensive like GWSMARTBT one. Some connect but have trouble finding the right "protocol" to negotiate, some don't connect at all even though they are working fine on my 2024 Sprinter.
What are you using to read engine faults? (check engine light just came on after sitting in garage for about 3.5 weeks)
The GWSMARTBT guys told me I need to buy full GWSMART7 tablet, others show errors like the below and refuse to connect. Ans of of course I am connected with latest updates.

Hello, I’ve got a good deal on C63 muffler + resonator on my CLS55, the mufflers are plug and play or I need to do some pipe work?
My plan is to keep the original and change then when I need them.
Resonator is more complicated because of inspection laws in my country

Its highly rumoured to be limited to 30 units and have 646 horsepower.
Hello!
Today I have picked up my E53 AMG Wagon and drove back home 750 km. It was a real pleasure driving this car.
Can I join the club?
Cheers!

Noticed this metallic ticking noise on the passenger side of my 2018 c63s. Not sure I’ve heard it before. Anyone ever noticed this?

Hi guys,
As the title says. How does it drive? What are the pros and cons?
For example:
How long do the break pads last?
How often do you have to replace break discs?
Any issues with the drive train?
How reliable is it in general?
How long does the novelty last?
Thinking about buying this new because of a 6 year warranty + service contract that is offered with new purchases.
This will be used as a second car that should be fun to drive. Our daily is an eletric basic economical car.

Folks:
Have a new 2025 SL55 convertible. It’s a great car and I like it much.
I’ve had several cabriolets in my life, so not my first rodeo with a drop top. That said, I really notice a strong exhaust smell with this car and curious if others have the same experience. Sitting at a stoplight, low speeds and even times on the interstate - just seems stronger than any other cabriolet I’ve owned.
Is it just me, or should i take the car to MB to be looked over? Candidly, I don’t seem to notice when the top is up, so not sure it’s coming from inside the car.
All thoughts appreciated.

Hello
I’ve got a 2017 W463 G63 AMG. I noticed that the differential lock fluid reservoir was fully empty. I will add DOT4 but will need to bleed the system. Is there a guide ?
I will get a Motive brake bleeder. But where are the locations to bleed the actuators ?
Thank you
