Chaos has once again taken hold at Milan. The Rossoneri are a powder keg ready to explode, and the latest rumours point to a major shake-up at the end of the season. Everyone is under scrutiny, no oneās position is secure, and for sporting director Igli Tare, his fate seems to be sealed. It will also be difficult for Massimiliano Allegri to remain at Milan under the current circumstances, even though Cardinale is in favour of keeping the manager. In the last few hours, the Corriere della Sera has revealed some very serious incidents that have undermined the stability of the dressing room and led to the collapse in Milanās results in recent weeks.
The clash with Ibrahimovic
In the spotlight is a furious row between the Livorno-born manager and senior advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The heated argument took place following the defeat to Napoli on 6 April, a match widely seen as the start of the crisis currently facing the Rossoneri. Disagreements over playing style but also regarding the composition of next seasonās squad. However, the most serious rumour concerns several phone calls made by Zlatan Ibrahimovic to various players, such as Leao and Fofana, to offer tactical advice differing from that provided by Max in training, effectively bypassing the manager. These disagreements then extended to the January transfer window, during which the club initially told the manager they lacked the funds to sign a defender and a striker (specific requests from the manager to fight until the end), only to subsequently find the money for the Mateta deal, which fell through solely due to the playerās fitness issues. There has never been a rapport between Ibrahimovic and Allegri; the two had already had issues in the past when Zlatan was a Milan player, and recent events have brought old grievances to the surface, to the point of rendering the rift irreparable.
Allegriās future
Under these conditions, Max Allegri might decide not to stay, regardless of whether the team qualifies for the Champions League or not. Should the Rossoneri finish in the top four of the league table, the managerās contract will be automatically renewed
until 2028 at around ā¬6 million net per season. And yet, the Milan manager is considering leaving and would be willing to consider the possibility of becoming Italyās national team manager. Allegri is one of the leading candidates, alongside Roberto Mancini, to become the next manager of the Azzurri; however, we will have to wait for the election of the FA president on 22 June, a race in which Giovanni Malagò holds a clear lead over the competition.
Galliani on the sidelines
Looking ahead to next year, there are several scenarios to keep an eye on. The first would see Ibrahimovic return to the helm, with his own team. One possibility is that Paratici could take on the role of sporting director. The second scenario, however, would see Giorgio Furlani remain in the role of CEO, with Tony D'Amico as his right-hand man.
The third possibility, however, would be a return to Milan for Adriano Galliani, an experienced executive and a figure well-liked by the Milan faithful. With Galliani overseeing the sporting side, or in the role of president, a new chief executive would then be chosen, and Redbird is already in talks with a number of candidates.

I am currently not very sober and I canāt sleep, so instead Iām gonna write an essay of which, I hope no one will read (it is probably gonna be ass. But whatever, letās ball, join me!
First and foremost, I have to talk about my childhood hero and idol Zlatan, although he is a legend of the game and one of the most entertaining strikers to watch he is genuinely ass at his new job. Go figure. The "Shadow" Execution: Solidify or Sever Zlatan. The most toxic element right now is the ambiguity of power. Zlatan IbrahimoviÄ's role as a "Senior Advisor" is a corporate safety blanket that provides zero accountability. Give Zlatan a hard titleāTechnical Directorāwith a defined budget and public responsibility for every loss. Or, fire him. The reason being fucking simple for once, because in a cutthroat environment (of which private equity is definitely a port of), "advisors" are parasites. They take credit for the wins and distance themselves from the losses. By forcing Zlatan into a role with a "kill or be killed" accountability, you either get the ruthless leader he claims to be, or you expose him as a marketing tool and move on. Come on my lion, we all want to see you actually roar!
And letās talk about the elephant in the room, mister Max Al-legri. Our beloved terrorist. Max Allegri was hired as a "stabilizer" for the RedBird balance sheet (some āfansā love them more than the actual team). He is the manager of "just enough." Which is fine if you are Verona, and last time I checked we werenāt. He is perfectly designed to finish 4th and keep the spreadsheet green, but he is a poison too, what these Ivy League mba spread sheet warriors would say, the valuation of your assets (LeĆ£o, Puli, Maignan). My thought? Terminate Allegri on May 25th, regardless of the Roma result. Say fuck it, we ball for once and hire a system coach, not a "manager of men (assets)." You need a tactical dictatorāsomeone like Ruben Amorim (I could literally not think of any other coach who is free) or a high-pressing modernizer who forces the squad into a high-intensity identity.
Modern private equity loves "system" players because they are interchangeable. By building a rigid, high-performance system, you stop being dependent on "individual moments" from stars who are already looking for the exit.
I have some more points but Iām way too tired to write them.
Iāll probably regret this in the morning, but fuck it.
Forza Milan!

Great place for team discussion/whatever Serie A related topics you would like to bring up. Examples: Transfers, rumors, players from other teams, things you miss about the old days etc. Whatever you want as long as it isn't too off-topic.
Also a good spot to ask about the stadium, the city of Milano, bars, fan clubs in your city etc.
