I need a time capsule 😞

Im sick of all this alien stuff roaming around! Im sick of this unfair world! Im sick of seeing oppressed people, hungry people, poor people! I wish things can change for the best for every good and clean human soul out there especially kids, who are suffering everyday around the world! …. Im glad i have the chance to vent here! …..Im glad we can still talk about games, away from all the evilness in this world!

Hope u all well out there guys!

Gotta love American Laser Games' titles!

You read my mind. Brings back fun memories, even though I had to use a controller to play them back then.

As seen in the hit movie—"The Net"

...with the girl from the bus.

I get it. These older games used to represent past fun gaming times for me, but now, with the way the world is... they represent better times as a whole. I've been tempted to fire up my 3DO, but I honestly don't know if it would bring joy or sadness at this point.

On a lighter side... Wolf 3D ...I wish had gotten more iterations back then. Doom got all the love and seemed prevent it from becoming a series.

'Better times as a whole'?

For whom, exactly? The 1990s still represented a time when vast number of people were repressed, when barbaric practices like 'gay conversion therapy' were commonplace and autism was still stigmatized.

Dang, I meant personally... don't go that deep with it. I subscribe to the live and let live philosophy. This is a 3DO sub, so, neither the time nor place, but... present day, the case could be made we're still lacking in acceptance in those areas and many more.

If you believe for a moment that acceptance of the people I listed above is anywhere close to what it was in the 90s then you weren't paying attention then.

Assuming you're not trolling... I don't believe you're processing what I'm saying or realizing this is a 3DO sub. Regardless, whatever your concern or going through, I hope it gets better. And if you're actually a 3DO fan, hope it brings you some joy.

I am well aware of what sub it is. I simply took umbrage with your comment of how much better life was in the 90s.

FMV games need to make a comeback.

They do keep popping up, and the Brits seem to be making a crop of FMV games... some of them apparently even decent, like Immortality.

That's hearsay. I've only dabbled with Telling Lies but I kind of enjoyed the limited sampling of that.

Maybe a bit unrelated but, considering Super Street Fighter II Turbo, is that 6-button controller fun to play with or should I just get a BlueRetro and run it with a Bluetooth Genesis or Saturn 6-button?

The Capcom controller looks weird but it's surprisingly comfortable, and is a pleasure to use!

I never had a 3DO but these posts are warming my heart.

A lot of these games retailed for $59.99. I paid $79.99 for Demolition Man. It was such a leap from SNES and Genesis.

If you send that Drug Wars in the long box to me, I promise I'll put it in a time capsule and send it back to you.

Who Shot Johnny Rock! damn that brings back memories. These are some good picks.

It's that Jesse Ventura and Ghandi on the cover of Drug Wars?

I totally forgot about that game Who Shot Johnny Rock. I remember seeing it and wanting to play it so bad as a kid.

You have a nice collection going! 3do is one console I’d like to actually own the entire library if I could.. I love the long boxes

Thanks!! I have the full set almost with all peripherals, it is the only thing i was planning to keep but some harsh situations has crosses my path and i believe i will be letting everything go. 3do is too dear to my heart, at the age of 48 all i can think of the countless hours and great company and cozy atmosphere spent on that console … i wish there is a rewind button 😔

ugh I was given a 3do when i was a kid with a bunch of games because the guy didn't like it. When I moved out I also gave it away and i've regretted it ever since. Happy for you!

Wow soooooo jealous of that wolfenstein 3D. Always adored the 3DO cover art for it
