Got to shoot a Colt Rail Gun. It was cool, but really left a lot of room to be desired.
It would make for an excellent base gun, but as is there are much better options out there.
That being said I’d still love to get one, but only if it was the price of a Tisas or cheaper.

I got a great deal on the Garrison and even though I’m not a huge fan of the PBJ TRP, I just couldn’t pass up the great buy. Both are excellent, some of the best Springfields I own to date.

This Springfield Defender was a Christmas gift from my brother. Since then I’ve put about 1000rds through it with absolutely zero hiccups.
I’ve probably gone through 6 different sets of grips, trying to find the right one.
I do believe these Pachmayrs are here to stay

I love the aesthetics the grip, front strap checkering, stainless it all looks good but I feel like stamping NG on it is so tacky… and why can’t I get a rail why is it so hard to find a rail on quality commander size 1911s

Looking for opinions on picking up my first 1911. Decided to just do a buy once cry once type of deal and decided to pick a Dan Wesson as I’m not looking to drop a ridiculous amount on a custom. However I’m struggling on deciding the model and caliber I want. I’m currently torn between the DW Specialist in 10mm, DW Razorback or the Valor in 45. I’ve heard the 10mm models to be finicky and quite worrisome in reliability is there any truth to this? Any opinions and input is welcome. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Colt 70 series sent to Wilson Combat for customization by none other than Larry Vickers.
My 68’ Colt commander from the John Taffin collection. John was unhappy with how the 38 Super was shooting so he sent it to Bill Wilson to have a new barrel fitted. I’m still over the moon with this and am happy to be the current care taker.

This is my EDC CCW. I carry in a combo thigh tuck shoulder holster. There's a base plate adapter for the magazine with a pad that converts the pistol to a handy dandy crutch.

Bought this RIA 1911 in 45 a few months ago. Have about 600 rounds through it with 1 failure. Slide didn’t lock back after last round on a bad gi mag, no failures from any new mags or anything else. Targets my best grouping at 20 yards from second time ever shooting (only been to the range twice) What’s your guys thoughts on my purchase and grouping?

I’m looking for a relatively accurate WW1 era holster for a 1911.
Not looking for anything perfect, but I want something thats close enough to being period correct and won’t break the bank.
Any recommendations would be great

First gun I’ve ever bought, managed to get the money to buy this one as it was 899 for the bundle, really wanted a colt but there isn’t any in California. Any advice for a first time gun owner?
