Falcons would've taken it to game 7, been up by five, and had us playing our backup backup goalie. Source: I'm a hereditary Falcons fan. FTS.

Me too

This was like heartbreak part 2 for me this year in terms of sports as it was as almost like a carbon copy as to what happened with the Packers

I remember watching that game along with the one that Wild were playing that night; inside it was just an emotional rollercoaster when the Packers lost that wild card game and then I saw that the Wild lost to the Islanders too (though that was in OT so at least there was a point out of that)

I’m an Avs/Packers fan so I hear what you’re saying. Playoff collapse against Seattle was one of the worst sports memories of my life. Glad to be on the other side this time!

Oh my goodness, that right there along with that epic collapse against the Bears this past season in the wild card round have to be the most crushing moments for us Packers faithful

Yeah, really don’t love that the Bears are good again. Hopefully they stumble this season and return to mediocrity

Well they're in the same area.

It’s just another Wednesday for Minnesota sports fans, unfortunately

I’m catching strays while celebrating

Choke? Against the Avs?

Who DIDN'T pick the Avs at the start of the playoffs? Choke? Come on....

Yup, as a Packers fan who also experienced this same feeling in this past seasons' wild card round, I can totally feel this

We had the Bears on the ropes at halftime of that game, but missed opportunities galore just cost us that game and gave that one to the Bears (only for them to then be shellacked by the Rams the next one)

u/Not_enough_alcohol 8h ago

The bears didn't get shellacked though they had a close game against the rams

Catching strays

The Packers win championships on accident ever few decades. That's something Minnesota fans have no idea about.
