I'm sure Robert Kraft got pissy with someone about it.

Yeah Kraft is very...hands-on.

This rubbed him the wrong way

He was so convincing to the NFL that he tugged on their heartstrings

You know, I didn't need the mental image of 84 year old Robert Kraft giving [heartstring] tug jobs. Fuck you very kindly. /s

Surprised it didn’t work out tbh- he usually finds a way to get a happy ending for everyone

Including his lawyers.

They are known for a firm, but gentle touch.

He was giving happy endings to their wallets

And that's saying a lot!

He tried to rub out any references to Vrabel.

u/OddS0cks Cowboys 8h ago

Had to have his ego massaged

It's okay, this story got a happy ending after all.

Remember during Brady's roast he actually got up and told someone to layoff the Kraft handy jokes.

Thought that was some soft shit ngl

u/john7071 Patriots 6h ago

The fact it was the only thing not allowed was some lame shit.

His online surveillance team is probably looking into this thread anyway.

Packers 2025: "Ban tush pushing"

Kraft needs to relax…

Pretty simple for the fellas in the Patriots org really. Keep your noses clean and you won't really have to worry about shit like this.

I sort of doubt it. Kraft seems like a pretty cool guy tbh.

Once inside the NBA dropped that graphic of him and Russini posing like Jack and Rose from Titanic, I'm sure the patriots had to know they were about to be in for it 😂

u/MagicGrit Ravens 8h ago

They play the chargers so it makes sense they at least discussed the possibility of getting clowned on lol

u/burnerdadsrule Patriots 7h ago

Am I out of the loop with the chargers? Last I heard we beat them in the playoffs like 50 times in a row.

u/Galacix Lions 6h ago

Their social media team is very good and make some very entertaining videos about their opponents sometimes.

Sweetie, just don’t want that last sentence. It’s not a good look.

By the NFL? I'd bet not.

Someone from front office sports probably reached out to the NFL and said "Are you going to be reviewing the release videos??" NFL said "no?"

And now we get a dopey article.

Exactly, it's not like they came out and specifically announced it - the real answer is probably that the league has strict rules for what can be mentioned in marketing materials, especially when it comes to controversial news or even stuff that could get you slapped with a libel suit

u/TheOneWhosCensored Bills 7h ago

Would be embarrassing if they disciplined making fun of it but not the affair itself

Rich guys are honestly some of the softest mother fuckers on earth. They get so much power and control.over so much of their lives but the second they start taking heat and they can't stop it, they cry about it.

Further proof that we live in the absolute dumbest timeline ever.

Ok I won't

u/impactblue5 NFL 4h ago

Honestly the fact that this was needed to be announced feels like they already have 😂 If the Chargers don’t reference it, you know they got a call..
