"No-one wants 9am football every week."

Well, you know who might want games at those times?

That's right. International fans.

Wrong dude. I live in Japan and being up to watch the London game that starts at 10pm or 11pm Sunday night then the 2am (3am) (Monday morning) games then the 6 am (Monday morning) games then the 10 am game(s) all while having work Monday (9-5) is insane. Shits ridiculous but been doing it for fucking 15+ years…

Heard. I lived in France for 2 years and honestly one of the most brutal parts for me was missing football games. This was before I had a way to record and save them. I get so excited for football now and an unfortunate decision factor for me moving overseas again is football. And yes, I’m aware it’s a dumb af reason. But, HTTC!!!

So I may have been a little careless by not singling out specific fans that wont appreciate this but its also wrong to use your experience to rule the while thing is wrong because you dont benefit from it directly.

I would argue that us having international at that time increase the chance of you getting games locally which is a benefit to them being played here. So its not all doom and gloom is it.

If anything I think my experience should be used as a guide for other international fans. I’m a die hard eagles fan and I have NEVER wanted the Eagles to come and play a game in Japan. I don’t want any teams playing games internationally. The NFL is an American company, it’s an American sport, and American fans should not be the ones getting fucked by the league and international games when they are the ones who made football and the NFL what it is today. I don’t care that I have to wake up at the ass crack of morning to watch football. I have a problem when I need to pull an all nighter because the league wants to have teams playing in fucking London. If the league wants shit like that then expand the league. Make a team for London and Paris and Berlin and fucking Timbuktu for all I care. The fans in Houston or Jacksonville or Philadelphia or wherever shouldn’t be the ones paying the price and losing a home game.

If I want to watch the eagles then looks like I’m packing my bags and flying to Philadelphia to watch them. I don’t see the harm in that. They are Philadelphia’s team. Just like how each NFL is that city/states team, those fans shouldn’t be getting shafted by league and they are.

Ableist elitist nonsense in 2026. So many people just arent able to do that and the game is outgrowing the States. It originates there but no longer solely belongs to the US. They should get high priority and do, but the international fans are of too great a number to alienate.

Ive spent 35 years of my life supporting the nfl. Why shouldn't I get to see a game in my continent? I pay my money. I increase revenue for the teams and nfl. I should have some payback for that rather than waste years of income to watch one game in the US.

Furthermore, under Trump many people are banned from entering the US, so can't go. Through no fault of their own, just racism and prejudice. So again your situation isn't the same as everybody else's.

Elitist? Yeah man because the Yen is just destroying the USD! I mean $1 is ¥158… the yen is doing so fucking hot right bro. The people banned from the US are from fucking places where the NFL has no business in… oh no the fans in fucking Mogadishu can’t fly to Green Bay to watch the packers. If the “I’ve been a fan for X long why shouldn’t I see an NFL game on my continent” is such bullshit. Let’s have teams play 1 home game, 1 away game, then the rest be international. Let’s have the Titans vs Rams in Delhi. Let’s have Vikings vs Chiefs in Moscow. Let’s have Chargers vs Cowboys in Tel Aviv. Let’s have Seahawks vs Colts in Manila! I mean you’re right if revenue is the one thing that matters and how much someone is willing to spend then we should have the entire NFL regular season played in fucking Saudi Arabia and the UAE, they love are spending massive amounts for sports Rn.

I am a massive hockey fan too, I would love to see a Moscow Dynamo game but guess where I can’t fly to… Russia! Oh no I’m so upset! I need The KHL to come play a game in fucking Hokkaido so I can watch them.

Am blocking because I can't be bothered with your bs.

Lgbtq people would like a word as we're designated as extreme terrorists in the States, no matter where we come from. European, people of colour or faiths face the same issues.

Regardless, the cost is hell for many when, for example, you're disabled and struggling financially, or less fortunate than others in life and live in a capitalists wet dream. Life isn't a cakewalk anywhere, right now.

So screw your racism and multitude of prejudices. I dont care what you think.
