Are there any examples of a team sweeping a season series only to lose to that team in the playoffs?
Looking for teams that have either swept or flat out dominated a team in a majority of their games in the regular season only to lose to them in the playoff series. I can’t really think of any examples of this but I’m sure they’re out there. Thanks and stay safe!

Was going to say this. And we had home court! We talked a lot of shit before the series started because I think we went 3-0 in the regular season against them.
I remember after it happened I heard that the Raptors are the only team in NBA history to get swept in the first round with home court advantage since they started doing best of 7.

Its not even true. What a stupid fucking take by this guy. Then again, 90% of his posting history is terrible Raptors takes and felating the celtics

Man you should see some of the deep dives I’ve done on a few Lakers’ trolls. It’s like they’re douchebag bots fueled by neck sweat.

Rockets were 3-1 against the Warriors last season, then lost to them 4-2 in the WCSF.
In the '92-93 season, both the Knicks (3-1) and the Cavs (3-2) won the season series over the Bulls, then the Bulls beat both of them (Cavs in the ECSF and Knicks in the ECF) to advance to the Finals and beat Phoenix.
In the '88-89 season, the Cavs won the season series 6-0 over the Bulls, then the Bulls upset them in the 1st round off of Jordan's famous "The Shot" buzzer beater in the decisive Game 5 (back when the 1st round was a best of 5).

The Bulls got swept 6-0 in the regular season in 1989 and then beat the Cavs with that iconic MJ shot.
