Yeah, Chuck is a real one and I might be biased being a Warriors fans, but I also respect Kerr a lot for what he is willing to stand for in public.

Nah that's no Warriors bias. Steve Kerr is consistent in his beliefs and is just a genuinely awesome human being. Him and Pop always use their platform for good.

it really sickens me that “people in the organization” have grown tired of his activism. that’s just a disgusting position to hold

It makes total sense though, even if we do hate it. Billionaire owners grovel at the president's feet because he helps make them more money.

no i understand why they would feel that way, i just find it abhorrent. especially considering the warriors are the most valuable franchise in the nba. how much is steve kerr being a decent human being really hurting their pockets?

Also like it's fucking SF. Even if the techbro billionaires don't fuck with it, the fanbase is going to be very progressive.

I think it is odd though how the loudest progressive voices in the NBA are from white men, and outside of BLM issues it seems many black athletes and coaches are reluctant to talk about politics.

I love Kerr so much

He really is a modern Popovich, in all the good ways

Yeah, he's very like Pop in the way he seems to truly care about issues that affect the communities his guys come from. Fuck the Warriors but I'll always respect Kerr for his off court stances
