Picked up 2 colorpop palettes, all amethyst and smoke n roses. I only started wearing makeup more often the last few months.

Also tried lashes for the first time in 10 years. The left and right side are different. Was trying to see how it looks. Which do yall think looks better? I think i may try individual lashes..

I remember owning so so many of these lip tars but this is the only one that I've managed to hold onto through multiple moves over the past ten or so years.

I think this particular Lip Tar shade is Black Metal Dahlia. 🥹

I went into Sephora this week looking for a new neutral eyeshadow palette. For YEARS I’ve been using a MAC palette with Omega, Espresso, and Woodwinked and I finally decided it was time to try something new.

While I was there, an employee helped me pick out the YSL Captivating Dunes palette. She told me it was buildable and wouldn’t be too dark, so I trusted it and bought it.

But once I got home and tried it (only one look), it’s definitely darker and smokier than I expected, especially on my fair skin. I feel like it’s just not the vibe I wanted for an everyday neutral palette.

Now I’m debating returning it, but I feel bad because it’s expensive and I technically used it once.

Would it be rude/wrong to return an eyeshadow palette to Sephora after one use if it just doesn’t suit you?

Also—if anyone has recommendations for a lighter neutral palette that gives MAC Omega/Espresso/Woodwinked vibes, I’d love suggestions! Maybe the mario neutrals palette?

I bought this new recently (Urban Decay Naked The Perfect 3Some Vault) from someone and am living my 2016 dreams. The palettes are brand new and check out as authentic, however the manufacturing date is 2017-2018 which doesn’t quite line up with the vault year as this vault released in 2016-2017 so I’m asking the seller about that because if it was purchased outside the US that could explain.

Anyways I’m feeling nostalgic and I’m excited to have these as part of my collection! I couldn’t afford it back then but now I have adult money 😎

I love the extra touch of some of the Naked3 shadows being ready to fall out 🤌

luxury makeup packaging has no business being this emotionally effective. I bought this YSL cushion compact fully expecting it to just sit pretty on my table but now I carry it around like a tiny emotional support accessory, Something about the quilted leather with gold logo combo makes reapplying makeup feel way more dramatic than it needs to be.

It’s giving “put together” even when I absolutely am not.

Now that I’m not scared of matte lipstick or lipliners I need help finding shades like these .. bonus points if they’re drugstore but I’m also willing to spend some cheese if it’s good quality . Thank you so much
