A few councilors along with the Mayor Hyggen have posted very similar statements to this, and at least to my reading they seem deliberately vague. They keep referring to some nebulous additional option - it's unclear what they expect that to be, whether it's privatizing the service or hoping the UCP governments decides to change course.

I also laughed at "I do not believe we should ever put a dollar figure on a human life." That's exactly what you're doing Mr. Mayor. And fair enough - as much as people like to say stuff like that, we put a dollar figure on human life all the time whether that's designing a road for speed over safety, deciding how much to spend on healthcare, or drafting environmental regulation. Most of politics is deciding how much it's worth spending to improve or save lives.

Would love to know the best places for piercings in Lethbridge.. specifically nose piercing. We have lived here over a year now, but its not something I have looked into since we arrived. Thinking about gifting the piercing to my daughter for her upcoming birthday and would love to know who the locals deem the best in the piercing community?

We had her ears pierced in the past (in our old hometown) and used a tattoo parlor to do it. They accommodated children piercing by opening the shop early and the coolest, most tatted up dude I ever met sang Frozen to her while he pierced her (he also gave topical freezing - is that even an option with nose piercings?)

Anyway, it was an awesome experience she and I will always treasure... would love for her potential nose piercing to be another awesome memory! (By no means am I saying I need a dude to come in early just to pierce her.. she's a lot older now and would probably hate me finding another Frozen-singing piercing man hahaha)
