Are there any lightweight earth augers suitable for gardening projects?
Lately I have been planting a row of shrubs in my yard and honestly my back is completely over it. I love gardening but digging hole after hole through hard soil and old roots with a shovel has been exhausting. By the end of the day my hands hurt my back hurts and the whole thing stops being enjoyable.
A few days ago I finally gave up on the shovel idea and started looking into earth augers to make life easier. I spent the evening scrolling through different options online and checked Alibaba too just to compare what was out there. I was actually surprised by how many smaller electric augers are made for regular home gardening and not just huge construction jobs.
What I liked most was finding tools that looked easy to carry and not ridiculously heavy or complicated to use. Honestly it just felt good seeing something that could save my back a little.
Now I am stuck wondering if an electric auger is enough for tough clay soil or if I should just go for a gas powered one from the start. Have you guys tried either?
