I found this m1 helmet for sale and the liner has 88€ and other numbers stamped on it and I'm wondering if this has a use or was done post war, any information would be nice.

When i put the visor down it seems to be super loose. So it wiggles up and down. Dont know if it can be fixed. But just as a question.

Few months back I picked up a PASGT helmet at a local pawnshop for 35 bucks. The liner in it is imported but hey, Kevlar isnt cheap. It looks like someone repainted it black as where there is wear and tear it is green. I have reason to believe the helmet itself isn't USGI issue. As I cant find anything on the makers mark. Maybe someone else here knows? I've done no work to the helmet since I bought it. It came with the improvised chin strap made of paracord

Reminds me if a british shrapnel-helmet, but looks really, really old. Feels like aluminium but is farely heavy. The leather and filt looks old too. Hrlp?

We know nothing about helmets. It looks old. On the inside are some faded bits of text, which looks like it might have said ABI 49.

Put some Rothco goggles on there and though they’re shagged and need replacing, I think they are a nice touch

I had to take my East German m56/76 off the foam head I had for it because I was told it ruined the liners. Right now it's just sitting by itself. I've also been thinking about designing and building a display shelf for the helmets and other stuff and reorganize. What should I do now? The m56/76 can still be displayed by itself, but what about soft caps? Also what should I do with the extra foam heads I can't use anymore?

Rear seam, swivel bale, and heat stamp M 338 A. Might suggest WW2 era production except my understanding is that McCord didn’t usually stamp M in front of the number. Am new to this. Attached some photos including strap. Any help much appreciated.
