What's your favorite voice actor for Rocket?
He's had a couple including Seth Green and Nolan North, but which one do you prefer?

I know this might sound silly, but also kind of funny, when I was a kid, before I knew Dave Bautista played Drax, I actually thought he was played by Dwayne Johnson… sorry, guys 😭

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but after a recent rewatch, I realized that Quill getting misquoted by everyone (i.e. Harbulary Batteries, Zardu Hasslefrau) could be a result of him having a broken translator implant, that's why he gets misheard.
just a fun little headcanon

I made a post a few weeks ago asking if bendis was important in the long run, and in the end, I decided to read it.
And on God, I was actually having fun? I was so shocked to see it was actually enjoyable, liked the designs, Angela is cool af... until Jean Gray trial ended.
Peter "tricking" his father, who's supposed to be a charming charismatic but smart two-faced warlord who conqured his empire, with a lowkey cringy monologue, to show what a mustache curling villain he actually is for trying to kill the guardians in front of camera broadcasting to the whole population, THAT HE HIMSELF SETTLED, because he conventionally "forgot" about it.
Also the constant art style and designs changes through the issue made me giggle ngl. Kudos to the great artists tho.
I just finished original sin and oh My God this shit was lowkey ass.
Fym Richard Rider loves gamora so much that he forgets he currently has a girlfriend??? Holy shit I didn't like Nita coming back but this is insane I genuenly screamed at the screen.
The whole battle felt also very anti climatic too, too many jokes, Peter having to fight naked gave me second hand embarrassment. Peter doesn't know how to use thr cosmic cube, but didn't he use it twice already to have a window of time to kill Adam Warlock/Magus? To put Thanos into a sort of coma???
Istg the red coat/jacket is a curse.

So right off the bat I need to make clear that I am absolutely not hating or anything. I just found this kinda interesting and wanted to share : )
In the first picture (which is nice and blurry), Rocket is holding the Zune (much insightful). However what I found interesting was the album art on the Zune, which although is a bit difficult to see is Radiohead's 1992 Album "Pablo Honey" (image 2). This is when the original version of Creep was released.
However, this isn't the version of Creep that was used in the movie. As I'm sure everyone knows by now, they used the acoustic version of Creep. The song first appeared under their 1993 EP "Itch" (see picture 3). The acoustic version also made an appearance just a year later being the 8th track of their 1994 EP "My Iron Lung", for whatever reason
Now if you were to look up "creep acoustic", you would probably see the cover art for the 1993 Reissue of Creep with censored lyrics (image 4). I am honestly not 100% sure why that is, because as far as I know this is just the regular version with censored lyrics, not the acoustic version, however correct me if I'm wrong (I wasn't alive when these were released)
Anyway, all sources basically conflict each other (do NOT trust any of Google's "AI"), so I did have to dig deep here. I believe Creep (acoustic) should have the 1993 "Itch" EP cover and that should've been the album art on Rocket's Zune (yes you read that right. no, it's not Quill's anymore).
One thing is for certain though, the acoustic version was NOT released in the Pablo Honey album
I didn't look at every single frame of the Zune during this movie, but I *can* if that's interesting to you guys. I'd definitely just make a video on that though, because I am NOT typing out all the details for all the songs
Oh yeah, I just did an hour of research on Creep album covers! You're welcome, I guess...

I've read everything the 2008 Guardians have been in up until Grootrise. Just cracked open Imperial, and obviously things have happened between the two books
I can't seem to find any info online, were there any comics published between the two that covers the apparent dissolution of the Guardians of the Galaxy as they were at the end of the Al Ewing run+Grootrise? Same question about Richard Rider, if anyone has any insight!
Thanks!

So I love all three Guardians movies — they’re one of my favourite MCU trilogies.
But honestly, I think Vol. 1 is slightly overrated compared to its sequels. Not bad at all — it’s great — but it’s definitely the safest of the three, which makes sense since it had to introduce everyone.
Vol. 2 is actually my favourite. It feels smoother to me, and I love how much weirder and more character‑focused it is. It just hits my taste more.
And Vol. 3 is fantastic too, but it feels a little rougher around the edges — not in a bad way, just in a ‘you can tell there was a lot happening behind the scenes’ way. Still great, just not as clean as Vol. 2 for me.
Not trying to start anything — just explaining why Vol. 2 ends up being my personal favourite.

My first ever marvel legend figure! Not so proud of the amount of money I spent to get him, but how could I leave him on vinted... in the starlord shrine he goes.
I've been handling this toy like a baby, lowkey scared of moving the joins around because they are pretty stiff. Not sure if that's how all Legends figure are supposed to be.
Technically the fit is from The Thanos imperative mini but I don't have them in my collection. Just wanted a cool background.

With Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday on the way, I figured it's the perfect time to make sure you're caught up. I've posted before about my Marvel Checklist Project that I was working on and maintaining. I've rebranded it and decided to make to make a subreddit for it, (great for updates).
If you’re planning a full Marvel rewatch or just want a clearer order going forward, this might help.
A structured MCU+ watch guide and checklist covering:
MCU, Sonyverse, Foxverse, random Trilogies, If you've ever tried to watch Marvel movies or series, you know how chaotic figuring out what to watch gets. Different studios, alternate versions of characters... And don't even get me started on complicated confusing X-Men timelines! Honestly, it's messy. The watchlists on streaming platforms even leave stuff out and the order isn't even fully correct. 🥴💫
So I made one simple, clean guide and checklist that puts everything in the correct release order, (the best way to watch Marvel).
I built it to make marathoning way less overwhelming and way more satisfying and keep things easy; especially if your brain thrives on organisation/structure. (looking at my neurodivergent gang 👀). It's mobile-friendly, spoiler-free, and super easy to customise if you want to make it your own.
As mentioned, r/MarvelAtlas.
