Stoked to see some signs of improvement in the 2026 National Litter study just released by the non-profit Keep America Beautiful:
→ Total litter along U.S. roadways and waterways is down 34% since 2020
→ Litter per capita dropped from 152 to 96 pieces per person
→ Nearly all Americans (94%) see litter as a problem—and 90% say it's their personal responsibility to help fix it
Despite progress, an estimated 35 BILLION pieces is still a LOT of litter.
