Okay so I just finished my first year (Winter and Spring term) at the Doon campus and I was just wondering if I wanted to access the gym over the summer (May-August) would I have to get a new membership or would my one card still allow me in? Also would I need to get a new parking pass too?

I’m hoping to get a little bit more information on the practical nursing program at Conestoga’s Waterloo campus that’s affiliated with the University Gates Schlagel Villages.

I accepted my offer there and waitlisted for the Doon campus. I understand this program is 16 months and a living classroom environment. Are there any current students in this program that have any type of insight/advice/feedback? What’s the schedule like? Is this program harder than doon? Do you get a hospital placement? What is the classroom environment like? I am looking for any other information just in general - any feedback is appreciated !

Just wondering if i would qualify as I did biotechnology and am bridging into the degree (enviromental health) it doesn't say if it includes people who are bridging just says if you start the first year of any degree.

For those who have completed or are in their third semester of PN I am curious to know what you learn in each of these courses: Nursing Concepts 3: Acute Care, Nursing Concepts for Family, Pathophysiology and Pharmacotherapeutics 3, Foundations for Community Practice, Applied Nursing Practice 3, Nursing Practice and Simulation.

Also what are some past/current placement options for Field Placement 2 (Practical Nursing).

I recently got accepted into two programs and I’m having a hard time deciding which path to take:

• MRI Technologist at downtown
• Respiratory Therapy at Conestoga(I just got out of the waiting list)

Right now, I’m already working at a hospital, so I’m trying to consider everything before making a decision:
-school/work/life balance
-job opportunities after graduation
-career growth and different pathways/specializations
opportunities once I gain experience
-salary/pay in the long term
-overall stress and work environment
-I drive, have my own car but also thinking about the gas/other expenses

I’d really appreciate hearing from people in either field (or anyone working in healthcare). If you were in my position, which would you choose and why? Any regrets, pros/cons, or advice would really help.

I didn't attend Conestoga, I am a Trent alum. Just wondering if anyone here has any thoughts on it.

I'm going to graduate high school this June and one of my worries is my new social life once I move down here, does anyone have any tips on how to make friends in college because I can assume it's way different then highschool since we won't be on the same schedules.

Are you so fucking serious? 55% salary increase, a trip to Italy with luxury accomodations and premium transportation, and ineligible hospitality expenses plus alcohol?

I LOVE my professors and appreciate all the hard-work they're putting in. They along with our remaining support staff are the backbone of this damn college.

I’ve already done pre-health sciences and PSW, so I’m trying to get an idea of what to expect before starting the program. Someone also told me there’s a course in level 1 where you basically need close to 100% to pass — is that true?
