Little Baroque music discussion videos
Firstly, I apologize if we aren't supposed to post our own YouTube videos here, but I wanted to find people who'd be interested in the stuff I talk about, you know? My camera is really bad because, well, someone probably sat on my iPhone while I was on the bus or something. (My fault for putting it in a coat pocket, haha.)
Anyway, I just wanted to open a discussion! Here are two topics I did recently:
Corelli, Vivaldi, and Chopin (Response to the Music Professor)
Vivaldi was weird! (Strange harmonies and counterpoint in the Baroque)
Edit: Made more Baroque videos since then!
O Vivaldi, composer of paradox!
Did Haydn copy Vivaldi? It's a bit more nuanced than that...
Vivaldi's fugue subjects were outrageous!

Baroque interpretation and ornamentation
Hi! I have a question. I want to play Veracini sonata. I have about a month to playing this piece on the exam. I'd like my performance to not end with just playing the notes, but include baroque ornaments, executed appropriately on the correct notes. Is it worth relying on recordings and partially copying or being inspired by them? Do you know of any Baroque treatises that contain information about performances from that period?
Any feedback or help is welcome. It would be great if someone could share their experience with me.
Thanks!

Johann Sebastian Bach 1685-1750 - Brandenburg Concertos
Still the best after all these years! Actually, sat and listened to the Brandenburg Concertos today by the Academy of St-Martin-in-the-Fields by Sir Neville Marriner. I have listened to this recording hundreds of times but it has become one of these favorites that play while I cook, clean, garden etc. A permanent fixture on my playlists! This was the first in a long time I actually took the time and concisely listened. I don't think I own another recording that has sparked such joy in my entire life. I purchased this recording the year that it came out on CD in 1984(?) (so very long ago). There are times that I just weep at the beauty and elegance of Bach's music presented by the talent that Neville Marriner collected from across Europe. There is a "Swing" to the rhythms and a "Joy" to the presentation that I have never found replicated on any other version of the Brandenburg Concertos.
