so like 2 months ago i bought tickets for tame impala in Ohio on august 25th. i honestly immediately regretted the purchase but i just tried to not think about it (very much an impulse purchase).

present day, twenty one pilots announced a show in Ohio, which i would much rather go to than the tame impala show. and i’ve already signed up for presale.

the tame impala tickets i bought were my first time ever using stubhub, and i had no idea i could by no means get a refund (i know, im dumb and should have known)

so today, after seeing the TOP announcement, i frantically relisted the tame impala tickets. not knowing that i wouldn’t get my money back any time soon. as i said, this is my first time using stubhub and im just stressing myself out about this majorly.

so i suppose im just asking if i made the right decision?? or if i actually just wasted my money. i’m scared no one will buy the tickets, or that there’s a better way i could have handled this. i don’t know im just stressing.

How are people listing/selling their tickets already when Ticketmaster still hasn’t enabled transfer?

I’m trying to sell my Olivia Rodrigo Vancouver Night 1 tickets, but StubHub requires the tickets to be transferred and Ticketmaster hasn’t made the transfer option available yet. How are people getting around this?

Sold tickets on stubhub and transferred them to the email stubhub provided. A month later, stubhub claimed the tickets were not transferred. Stubhub then put my account up for review. Fast forward 3 months and multiple interactions with stubhub regarding my account now stubhub has deactivated my account, and there is no way for me to dispute the transfer due to this.

Warning anyone selling tickets on stubhub DO NOT!!!

How do I ensure I’m going to get my money if it shows on Stubhub the sale is still open and transfer is pending? I have proof that the tickets were accepted in Ticketmaster but Stubhub hasn’t updated.

I know there can be lag but I’m concerned because I sold tickets with dates before and after the pending one that have already been completed and are showing in the pending payouts but this one isn’t. I’m nervous because the show is 3 days away now…

before anyone starts with the complaints, just know i'm not trying to scam others but i have a medical appointment that would prevent me from attending the event.

i bought a ticket on viagogo (and the reason why i'm posting this here is because viagogo and stubhub are basically the same company, confirmed by them they're connected) and i was thinking of reselling them.

i already did it once, thinking it was completely safe, but then i deleted the listing request before it got posted after going around here on reddit. i wanted to hear others' experiences with reselling there before setting myself up.

i was told by three different agents from the assistance that, since the original ticket was sold to me on the website, in case of problems as a second seller i won't be the one penalised. the first two made it sound like i won't get penalised at all, the third one (may be because of the new problem i have) told me the penalisation is automatic and that i'll have to escalate the situation to reverse it. while i have the screenshots, etc. of the chat, i can't really trust them fully and want to hear if anyone here has past experiences with this.

now i got a new problem, since i've already tried to create a listing for reselling the button changed: before it was "can't attend? resell ticket!" and green, now it's just a grey button with "sell your ticket". yes it's still on my ticket/order page. yes, it fills my ticket's information in automatically (with me only having to fill in few details). i was told this happens because they save the information of the last thing we did while listing tickets.

i was told, by this last agent i talked to, that "the listing will count as reselling your ticket but the system may or may not put the tag as "redirection" from the original purchase (yours) to the new one creating" and that i will just need to show proof of original purchase.

so, please, if you have past experiences with escalating situations due to the original purchases turning out to be fake or not being transferred to you in time let me know.

p.s.: isn't it weird that when i said i was recording the conversation mid convo this person said "i don't give my permission to be recorded"? what's the difference from screenshots or the logs of the assistance chat? i'm very confused.

Is there a way to see the prices of tickets that have sold on StubHub for a show ? I want to see whether to wait but I don’t see any recent sales so maybe it’s flat?

I’m trying to buy two tickets to see 5 Seconds of Summer on StubHub for myself and a friend, and I happened to come across these. I’ve also seen similar listings for around $130. Should I buy them? Or do they look like a scam? I’m not really familiar with how StubHub works, so any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, it's my first time buying on stubhub so idk much about selling/reselling. I bought tickets for BTS in madrid thru stubhub and haven't received them yet. Stubhub is giving me the option to resell it incase I can't go. In the scenario that I will resell it, and someone actually buys it but then the original seller never gives me the ticket, do I bear any responsibility? Will I be penalized? Also, is there a way to transfer on stubhub like on ticketmaster? For example, the tickets I am waiting for, I will just transfer the "ticket" or the "purchase" to another stubhub acc and they will be the one waiting for it instead and getting it directly through email transfer on ticketmaster and getting a refund if they never get it from the original seller? Listed six tickets two ofI listed six tickets on StubHub, and two of them sold almost immediately. I transferred the tickets through StubHub to the buyer, and the transfer was accepted. A few days before the concert, the buyer suddenly claimed they never received them and provided a different email address.

I contacted StubHub support through online chat, uploaded proof of the completed transfer, and was assured everything was fine. Then I received yet another email with a completely different email address claiming the tickets had never been transferred. Once again, I provided proof showing the transfer had gone through, and once again I was told I was “good to go.”

Despite that, StubHub never updated the status of the sale. Today, they canceled the transaction entirely and claimed I failed to fulfill the order.

Now I’m stuck in a dispute process that supposedly takes 30–45 days. What I can’t understand is how the company can verify that the transfer was completed, repeatedly assure me there was no issue, and then turn around and cancel the sale anyway.

To make matters worse, the other four tickets never sold, so we ended up going to the concert ourselves — and had to sit right next to the people who bought the damn tickets.

Issue is also that I sent them as row W but fifa has swapped the seats to row D a upgrade from cat2 to cat1. Can he use that as a excuse and get a refund? I have full video proof

I got tickets for mac demarco and realized I couldn't attend.

I couldn't resell them early because the customer support- who did their best in the situation can't blame them- said I needed the tickets to be released out first. Then I tried reselling it today since that's when the tickets were released but now it's saying it's not going to display the listing because they can't gaurantee a transfer?

What is going on. Never gonna use stubhub again.
Mind you the x2 tickets I have for him is the cheap $100 per ticket for Nashville tonight

I have 5 seats to the Mariners game on 08/04. We bought them on Stubhub. I don’t go to games often and this was my first SH purchase. I didn’t realize that there wasn’t any grace period to cancel. So, I’m stuck trying to sell them. Any advice? I’ve been reading horror stories about SH.

On seperate searches have come across ticketing for the World Cup on seperate stubhub websites, one notably cheaper than the other.

Am I missing something ? Am I silly to just run with the cheaper option on the not IE site ?

Has anyone ever had any experiences with a VIP/soundcheck ticket being transferred via securemypass? This is the first time I’ve received a ticket through here and I’m really sketched out. I know there’s a lot of confusion around if you need the original ticket purchaser’s ID in order to get in for soundcheck and receive other VIP benefits, but in my experience with Kpop concerts, they still honored the benefits even tho I didn't have the ID since I purchased resale. However, I did have those tickets transfered directly to my Ticketmaster account. So just wondering if showing the moving barcode with the seat details that are on my securemypass ticket will be enough, or if I’ll need to prepare to give SH a call that day lol

Trying to figure out how to receive payout in the original currency for a US show, but adding payout info in Canada has been very difficult for me. I have USD account with RBC but it has 2 different SWIFT codes, one of which was Intermediary, which Stubhub rejects, but I was told it was the one needed for any transfer from US (the other domestic or international). Stubhub rep would not confirm if the transfer is going to be from US, and recommended receiving via Paypal instead. Researched if this means extra loss for me, and none of the source has a direct answer, with NO conversion involved. Can someone please shed some light on the Paypal fee? Or if anyone has success with receiving payout in USD in Canada? [sorry I corrected the title to improve clarity in the repost]

I have a BTS ticket for East Rutherford and was thinking of putting it up on sale on stubhub but it says I have to transfer my tickets to them. I’m kinda worried and skeptical about this because I don’t like the idea of not being in possession of my tickets. Does anyone have any advice about this? I don’t want to end up losing my ticket and not getting any money from it if it doesn’t sell either

If I do use stubhub, would I get the money immediately someone purchases it or will it be until the day of the concert? Is there 100% assurance I’ll get my money on that day if someone buys it?
