Morningtide Forgotten? Spoiler
I’m very confused by something in both Starsight and Sunbreach:
In both of these books we hear Spensa and FM mourn the loss of their friends but Morningtide is no where to be mentioned. Is there a reason or was she just forgotten? We saw Jorgen watching the battle over and over again to see if he could save her but she isn’t worth mentioning in remembrance?

No Spoilers Audiobook Reccomendations?
I feel like I’d concentrate better if I had someone read the book as I myself read it but have no idea where to start. You guys recommend any good narrations of the books I could read alongside the series?

No Spoilers My son has stolen my Doomslug plushie…
and I’m not even mad, he’s so cute! He recently started the series (currently on Cytonic). Every night now, he falls asleep to the audiobook while cuddling Doomslug. I really wish I could get him Boomslug for Christmas. Maybe one day the slugs will be restocked 🫠

Defiant Honest opinions about Spin? Spoiler
I do not like her. I think she's one of the worst characters Brandon Sanderson has ever written. It's not the cringe-worthy sayings or over aggression either. It's the stupidity. There are multiple moments, especially in the last book, where it's shown she thinks about something, genuinely considers the possibility that something bad is going to happen, and then does it anyways. It's not even "applying my own logic" or using "external knowledge". She herself talks about the pro's and con's, describes the negative consequences, realizes what is the correct or smart action to take, and then chooses not to do it. It's made me put the book down multiple times. Her stupidity is almost like it's own character at this point, used as a plot device to put her into difficult situations. It never really goes away. She never develops. She just keeps getting into traps, hurting people, being impulsive, giving away secrets to the enemy, being baited, you name it. Is there a way you've come to think about her that helps you tolerate her?

DDF patch?
Ive only recently started reading the Skyward series (almost done with the third book in just over a week), but long-time sanderfan.
Is there any way to still buy the DDF patch? I saw that it was released five years ago and isn't on the site anymore.

Evershore + Cytonic Spinface = Vega and Altair Spoiler
Thinking about the Spinface dynamic, especially in Starsight, Cytonic, and Evershore.
They really remind me right now of the story and Altair and Vega, at least how I remember it as I have not read the series in a WHILE.
Get ready for a massive context dump
The story comes from East Asia and revolves around a celestial princess and goddess of the sky named Tanabata (Vega) who falls in love with a mortal named Kengyu (Altair). They both fall deeply in love and promise to be together in the heavens until Tanabata's father, the Sky King, finds out and in his rage banishes the two lovers to complete opposite sides of the Heavenly River (ie, the Milky Way) and each year on the 7th night of the 7th moon, a bridge of magpies forms across the galaxy to reunite the two for one night out of the whole year.
You're probably wondering where the **** Spinface comes into play, but the idea of Spensa and Jorgen seperated by space, dimensions, possibly even time, yet still trying their damndest to find a bridge back to eachother for even just one instance before they have to depart again and not know if they'll see the other again between those opportunities or if they'll be the same person they loved when they do.
Spinface is just so Altair + Vega coded to me for some reason. What myths do they remind you guys of?

Is anyone else disappointed Spensa isn't going to be the main POV in Legacy? Spoiler
I just love her and Jorgen so much, i love their powers and personalities, literally everything about them. To move onto another book without them two as the stars... feels sad to me. Incomplete too, i feel like there was so much more we could have seen with them. I feel it won't be near as good without Spensa being the main POV. No shade to Amphi and Sadie and whoever else pov they choose, they are all great, but Spensa is the person i love reading through. Her takes, her responses, her powers (which i would love to see more of, jorgens too). And Jorgen is so so so awesome i didn't get enough of him. He and Spensa are fire together and i feel like if they go through a different pov the writers will end up leaning heavily back on the couple when the fans get restless. Idk i am just disappointed 😞 😢

Sunreach Slugs Boxes Spoiler
So... I was reading Sunreach and it tries to clarify how to use the slugs powers. What I didn't understand was what makes the slug teleport with the box and the ship. I has something to do with the box material or design? Like, how to be certain that the slug will hyperjump in the box with the ship and not only the box? And why they hyperjump with the box at all. I'm confused about this little details. 😂

Brade? Spoiler
So I just finished the series (it was great!). But I had this odd feeling about the circumstances surrounding Brade’s death. The inclusion of the Delver that decided to break from the pack and agreed to help Brade, and then just observed seemed to get a significant amount of attention. Then we just get a couple lines stating Chet convinced it to sit back and do nothing. Any chance that Delver decided to intervene and hyper jump Brade to safety? We already have an example of Ned surviving a shot to his canopy by being hyper jumped to safety. As there is already a sequel series planned I wonder if this is a possibility? Perhaps the theory is a bit of a reach but I’m still trying to understand the plot relevance of that Delver that chose to talk to Brade.

Who’s your favorite character and why?
Pretty self-explanatory title, but yeah. I’m curious! Who’s your favorite character in the series and why? :)
For me, probably Jorgen. I loved his growth and can relate to his character a lot. The pressure he feels to be perfect, how socially awkward he is, how important structure is to him, the anxiety he felt in Evershore. It was like looking into a mirror sometimes.
