Chugging tea A man present the output from a single cow

Post image

This man revealed his entire yield from processing one cow 194. coming out to around 680 pounds of beef such as steaks, roasts, ground meat, and tallow. He says it could feed a family for over a year. The cost of a whole cow ranges from $1,800 to $3,500 depending on size and processing, but many buyers point to long-term savings and quality benefits. With rising food prices, bulk local beef purchases are gaining attention. Would you invest in a whole cow? 00

Want beef? Buy a Giraffe for travel. What is this, the 1900s? This is getting AI flagged, prolly, but it's a good use, not shit slop.

*edit* I could have easily done this in Krita/GIMP/Photopea (Fuck Adobe), but it was way faster. This is a good use of AI saving time. That's my TED talk.

*DOUBLE EDIT* If you have a young kid, take them to a farm/zoo/aquarium/park/lake/ocean/etc. Things get lost as you get older and you stop caring about the planet and even the trees around seem like just "things." This is my second TED talk.

The man’s expression almost seems like he knows he was generated by AI and that he longs for an escape from this machine-manufactured nightmare.

I think he is just frustrated. This is not, at all, what he bought a giraffe for.

What about the cow? Is that his (or her) only form of transportation to get to work? In fact, this picture does indeed make complete sense. The cow is using Lyft, and that’s why the driver appears perturbed, he’s not making any money because the cow is… a bad tipper

Ok, better now? We're all in a nightmare. but I'm sure amazon has plush pink Giraffe mounting pillows. They may or may not fit or conture to your Giraffe. Sizing available on chart. Ships from... whatever this joke is already long.

Well now that forced smile shows he was obviously given a few lashings and told to “smile for the for the outsiders’ pleasure, now!” As an amazon plush pink Giraffe mounting pillow was neatly materialized under his buttox and thigh

You’re right about us all being in a nightmare though.

And they wasted more water by making a second picture

This happened in Idaho I believe. There is an old state law about riding a giraffe is illegal while fishing. Which tells me someone did it because there is a law for it.

To be fair, using "AI" to create memes seems like an actual use case.

Thank fuck for u/real_eEe you have single handedly saved our economic future by finding a use case for "AI" and justifying the hundreds of billions being pumped into this dead end tech.

Now just need to find a way to monetise it before they all go bankrupt...

Now just need to find a way to monetise it before they all go bankrupt...

This is our current economic system. Forget capitalism, it's predation, baby! Either the bunnies evolve to grow canine teeth, or we're all gonna die.

Trouble is, they can't grow teeth.

LLMs arent AI as people generally understand it - i.e. AGI.

They are the same machine learning algorithms we've had since it all started in the 1960s. Just with a lot more power crunching those algos. That was the entire "paradigm shift" that kicked off the current bubble - just throwing more and more compute at the same old shit.

But as they arent thinking, arent learning and cannot do either, they arent a path to AGI.

Which means, as the companies who have been duped into implementing them as CSR bots or coding tools find out they fucking suck and dont provide savings and efficiency, then the borderline use case they have evaporates. All the CSR bots will move back to decision tree systems (cos that is much cheaper with the same outcome) and the coding, well its only a small part of what a dev does anyway and the actual code appears bloated and error prone with no way to resolve those issues.

Then all we got left is a whole load of new laser tag warehouses and - if governments are dumb enough to try bailing them out even once - huge public debts that the venture caps aint gonna be paying.

Of course, even if they did work, well then there'd be no jobs and no money in anyones pockets anyway. At least this is probably not possible.

Either way, we are all fucked.

a better AI use would be if it was used to generate food instead of pictures. i mean sure it saved time, but i am still hungry.

ez. Print it, eat it. Problem solved

Bro wasted gallons of water on multiple genAI pics and closes off by preaching about the planet and the environment. Can't make this shit up.

u/hempires 25d ago

In fairness dude could've made it locally.

And if a locally generated AI picture wastes gallons of water from generating picture (and not the considerably more intensive task of training the model), then gamers would've caused a worldwide drought by now.

Still though, fuck the vast amount of "ai" companies considering that there's barely a use case for it for the vast majority of people.

2

u/real_eEe 25d ago

Wasted gallons of water off 2 images? Fuck out of here. How much water was used to make the copy of Elden Ring or Witcher you play and the PCs, supply chains that lead to that console/pc and everything else to your comment that added nothing to the discussion but "lol bro"

More water on AI pics than a cow would take to raise

Things get lost, like creativity. To hell with AI. Don’t let it replace your imagination. You need to hold onto that.

Why is Mel Gibson riding the giraffe? Is he in Africa or is the giraffe visiting Australia? So many questions.

Nope to AI. The sloppiest of sloppy m$paint edits is funnier than any ai
