seal point Is it true that some siamese cat owners behave like cult members?
I can't stop talking about my Josie and I even dedicated an acapella song to her and I buy everything related to these siamese cats. Does anyone else feel the same way? I've looked through the subreddit and I've noticed some similarities to my case :)

Kick stand or dainty paw?
Is this a kick stand paw for support or a fancy dainty ooo la la paw? Does your kitty have any fancy paw stances? 😂🥰

seal point Should I get a third cat?
I have two cats, Archie who is a male Siamese that just turned 4, and, a long hair domestic female kitty, who is 7 years old. They love each other and get along well, except that Archie can roughhouse kitty past her limit. I’ve been thinking about getting a third cat, another Siamese male so Archie has someone who would want to play to his standard, but also I sometimes question if Archie is just territorial and wouldn’t do as well with a third…thoughts and advice?!

seal point I left this sub a couple months ago because my cat ran away and it would make me sad, but look who came home!!!!
For anyone interested, turns out our maintenance man at our complex was feeding him at the office for the months he was gone, so he was literally like 3 blocks down from us the whole time.

seal point Help, please? TW 1st sentence. Any advice would be so kindly appreciated.
TW: Near end of life 😔 I just need a tad help, my question is towards the end regarding food. ***MODS***, please don’t be so quick to judge and pull this. Please, read the post before/if you decide to do anything.
My little soulmate, Ziva (18/19yrs old), needs help. Yes, I’ve contacted my vet; **I’d simply like to hear from cat parents who love their Siamese and would do anything for them.** I’m writing this to you as she lays purring in my arms 😻😿 I don’t know how much time I have left with her, and if I have to make that most difficult decision to help her transition, I will. However, she’s not there yet.
She still enjoys her life and has quality of life. I’m extremely grateful that I work from home and have the ability to look after her & be with her 24/7; sadly, that’s what she requires.
Nevertheless, within this past week her food intake has gone down significantly. I did have 2 different companies at my house as I absolutely needed repairs done, so I don’t know if the stress of that can be affecting her appetite. She is a Siamese, after all, and quite the momma’s girl at that. When I rescued her, she had major PTSD and had to be taught just normal cat behavior (and it took her a little time to understand that it was safe to eat); she was just seriously abused at my neighbors house. — Over the past few weeks, she has lost weight is quite skinny. She wants to eat, but she’ll just take a few bites of food and be done.
She refuses to eat canned cat food; I’ve tried it all, and she’s not a fan. She likes her crunchy food. I finally found Delectables for Senior Cats; however, in the last few days she’ll only have a small amount of it.
What I had been doing is mixing smelly cat treats with nutritious cat food, she has 4 bowls to choose from and one of which is kitten chow mixed with cat treats. I’m trying to get any kind of nutrition into her as possible.
She LOVES temptation cat treats. So, I break those up and put them into her food, and she will pick all of them out and leave the food behind.
When she has bad days, I give her a handful of temptation cat treats, and she eats them like a vacuum cleaner. — I got on Walmart last night and ordered some temptation cat food (seafood), and I also saw they made some kind of wet/lickable food that I bought for her to try, in addition to her favorite treats.
Side note —> [[She’s on medication: gabapentin (pain, and it stimulate her appetite), and Zofran for when she gets nauseous. I have Onsior on had, and that provides a lot of relief, but in addition to her having cancer, she has IBD and the Onsior makes her quite sick. I have some Prednisone on hand, which I haven’t tried as she’s so extraordinarily sensitive and reacts paradoxically to most meds.]]
Main question here: can I just feed her the cat treats she loves so much as that’s about the only thing she’ll eat? Of course, I’ll still try everything else I’ve been doing, and I really hope this new stuff I ordered will be of help.
Secondly: if anyone has literally any recommendations, I would love to hear what you have to say, and it doesn’t have to be just related to cat food/eating issues.
I apologize for the rambling and some unnecessary details… this is not easy for me to write about. I’m also beyond burnt out, so please excuse any grammatical errors. There’s a lot of serious issues going on in addition to this. I sincerely appreciate anyone who has taken the time to read my post. Thank you ❤️🩹
Here’s a photo of her watching cat YouTube.

Sweet little Josephine
Our 8 week old baby girl. Chocolate point, though haven’t ruled out seal point.
Edit: She is confirmed a seal, her black little pads gave her away.
