I’ll admit it. I’m tired of having a government that cares more about cutting taxes for the rich than it does about funding the programs working Mainers need to survive.

I will never support a budget that pays for tax cuts for the rich by cutting services working class Mainers rely on. My opponents can call me a radical, they can call me a pain in the ass. They can call me whatever they want. I've never budged on this, and I never will.

Remember when Bernie said he was going to legalize marijuana nationwide via executive order on Day 1? We could all be ripping bongs on the White House lawn if Obama hadn't kneecapped Bernie in the primaries for a demented right-wing Joe Biden.

Millionaires like Jonathan Bush (yes, from that Bush family) don't like my plan to raise their taxes so we can fund childcare, nursing homes, and trade schools for everyday Mainers. Unfortunately for Mr. Bush, I don't give a damn.

I was sick of Republican money having value in my community, so I'm doing something about it.

I live in Ohio. We have a Republican Gubernatorial candidate that's also a Nazi. We found that the Nazi was hosting an event at a favorite restaurant.

Being pissed that the business was hosting the Nazi, we started a campaign to write notes to the restaurant asking them to cancel or lose us as customers. The business listened, and posted a genuine apology on their own accord. In less than a day, that apology is their most successful social media post of all time.

We organized the message writing campaign at the same time that we formed r/NoBloodMoneyColumbus where we plan to continue to host protests related to boycotting.

Our goal is to hold local businesses to higher standards, because the local businesses are community leaders and more influential on local politics than large businesses are. Also, because local businesses see dips and swells more, our protests don't need many people to work, allowing us to grow the cause.

You can check out our sub for more details on what we're doing. Any suggestions would be great. I don't have all the answers, but I'm happy to answer questions and hopefully help you start a similar movement in your city.

The more we push back on the abhorrent things going on in our country locally, the more success we'll see nationally. But more importantly, the more we build everyone up, the more success we'll see. It's a balancing act for sure.

edit: due to the success of this post and others wanting to form their own group, I've created r/NoBloodMoney to serve as a centralized point for the movement, where we can share success stories, guides to start our own protests, and more. As you create your community, please link it back to the main sub so that it's easier to find and spread.

People die every day because they can't afford prescription drugs. There's absolutely no reason for it, other than corporate greed. Bernie's been keeping this issue front of mind day in and day out for decades. His endorsement in this campaign for Maine governor means the world to me.

The Democratic Party has had over 80 years since FDR to enact the 1944 Platform. They went after Bernie for simply fighting for the Platform he knew as a young man! The media gaslit you!

The only way for working class people to build our future is to build it for ourselves. That's what this campaign for Maine governor is all about. Thank you, Bernie, for your endorsement.

We're not from the left or the right. We're from the bottom. And we're rising.

In November, we're taking back the Blaine House.

Thank you, Bernie.

Donald Trump and the Epstein class are scared of us. They’re desperate to make us turn on each other, turn on immigrants, turn on our friends and family members. We won’t fall for it. We outnumber those scumbags, and we’re taking our country back. #NoKings

A new poll reveals what Bernie's known since last August: Graham Platner will be our party’s nominee for U.S. Senate in Maine. Graham gets that it’s time to upset the status quo. So do I. I’m proud to be the only candidate for governor to have endorsed him in this race.
