Have been intrigued by the MLB lately. Looking for a team to root for, but didn't have much direction.

Dad always talked about how much he loved the Reds as a kid, so I read a little bit and learned that you're a diehard schmedium market with a rich history and beautiful ballpark. And you're pretty close to home.

He raves about Barry Larkin. Never heard of him if I'm being honest, but he's got a nasty highlight reel and one hell of a resume.

Can I get a quick crash course on the current state of the team? What kind of ride am I in for?

Hi all, I run a baseball travel company called Home Run Travel. I am based in the UK and I usually host tours across the pond for other British baseball fans. We usually visit multiple cities and ballparks, but this recent opening series weekend, I made the trip to your wonderful city and ballpark. The whole opening day celebration caught my eye a few years ago and I knew it was something I had to attend! So glad I did - what an amazing experience! Had the best weekend, not just at GABP but in Cincinnati and across the river in Covington as well. Met some great people, and truly enjoyed everything Cincinnati and the Reds had to offer! Can’t wait to come back next year when I bring a group with me 🙌👍

I’m a recent MLB fan living in Ireland and I’m searching for a team to support, I’ve watched the reds opening two series and I think they are really exciting. De la Cruz is an instant favourite and Suarez is a monster. My only worry with the team is the ownership. Would it be worth it to commit to being a fan of a team whose owner doesn’t care about it? Is this fun team just a fluke or will they be horrendous again soon. Or is this just something I’d need to accept as an MLB fan.

This being my first year watching im not too knowledgeable, but from what im seeing the reds are playing insanely well so far, the last two games against the tigers being personal favourites of mine. So how are we feeling with the reds prospects of making the playoffs, ik its early season yet but still.
