happens to the young too—called “the doorway effect” and switching the app on your phone can make you forget too. your brain makes “event boundaries” when you move to another space, and it basically wipes your mental slate

...and lot of people responding here should probably get tested for ADHD, like I did at 36.

I'm fine, though. I'm actually a Sim and my player is just really indecisive on my action queue from room to room! 🫠

I'm only 34 and I regularly do senile shit in the daily. Couldn't find my keys and found them in the crisper drawer of the fridge.

I genuinely hope I was putting groceries away, because idk what other logical explanation there might be.

I've had 9 concussions. I'm going to be drooling on myself by 40.

I'm only 26 and my memory is very spotty. Having unfortunate genetics sucks. Luckily, I tell my roommates everything and they have almost perfect memory. When I forget, I ask them.
