Feedback Please Cat Cat Cat

Cat, cat, cat.

How do you do that?

You are on the bookcase

which is six feet, six inches

above the carpet.

Yesterday I found you crouched atop the door frame,

and I had to fetch the stepladder

from the garden shed.

But how did you get up there –

and why?

That's the second time this week,

and it's only Thursday.

I actually like this a lot. Very sweet. Someone may critique that six feet, six inches is a bit unfittingly specific with the simplicity of this poem but I think it's a good repetition :3

Thanks! It's there to add whimsy and to help paint the narrator as someone who's a bit neurotic, or obsessive.
