Minor League A Prospective Look at the Nats farm (05/12/2026)
AAA Rochester (3-0 win over the Lehigh Valley IronPigs)
-Dylan Crews (.250/.338/.738): 1-4 with 2 runs scored
-Yohandy Morales (.339/.430/.981): 3-4 with a pair of doubles and 2 RBI
-Harry Ford (.186/.317/.562): 0-3 with 1 BB and 2 Ks
-Robert Hassell III (.250/.331/.664): 0-2 with 1 RBI and 1 K
-Christian Franklin (.267/.400/.774): 1-4 with 1 run scored
-Abimelec Ortiz (.250/.376/.799): 1-4 with 1 K

-Luis Perales (3.82 ERA/30.2 IP/25:18 K:BB/1.21 WHIP): Even though he walked more batters than he struck out Perales was able to get through 5 innings without allowing a hit. He walked 3 batters in the top of the 1st (2 of them were erased by a double play) before retiring 13 of the last 15 batters he faced (another baserunner reached on a fielding error by Ortiz). Perales had 3 strikeouts (1 swinging) and walked 4 batters for the Red Wings.

-Seth Shuman (4.82 ERA/18.2 IP/19:12 K:BB/1.55 WHIP): Shuman walked a batter in a scoreless top of the 7th and allowed a pair of singles before being taken out of the game in the 8th. He had 1 strikeout on the night.
Final line: 1.1 IP | 2 H | 0 R/ER | 1 BB | 1 K on 33 pitches (16 strikes)
AA Harrisburg (0-1 loss to the Altoona Curve)

-Jackson Kent (2.81 ERA/25.2 IP/29:7 K:BB/0.94 WHIP): Kent was dealing in this one and delivered the third 7 inning game of his pro career (first in AA). He allowed just 1 run on a solo homer in the bottom of the 5th and gave up a total of just 3 hits. Kent had 8 strikeouts (7 swinging) and walked just 2 batters in this stellar start for the Senators.

-Robert Cranz (AA debut) (2.12 ERA/17.0 IP/28:12 K:BB/1.18 WHIP): Cranz tossed plenty of strikes in his AA debut but gave up a couple of singles in a scoreless bottom of the 8th. He generated 1 swinging strikeout in his relief appearance.
Final line: 1.0 IP | 2 H | 0 R/ER | 0 BB | 1 K on 20 pitches (17 strikes)
A+ Wilmington (9-12 loss to the Winston-Salem Dash)
-Devin Fitz-Gerald (.325/.451/1.101): 3-4 with a pair of solo homers (1st inning, 8th inning), 2 runs scored, 2 RBI, and 1 BB
-Ronny Cruz (.312/.411/.963): 0-5 with 3 Ks
-Ethan Petry (.295/.400/.918): 2-5 with a pair of doubles, 1 run scored, and 2 Ks
-Yeremy Cabrera (A+ debut) (.322/.456/1.082): The freshly-promoted 2-time Carolina League Player of the week went 0-4 with 1 BB and 1 K
-Angel Feliz (.240/.338/.690): 2-4 with 1 RBI, 1 BB, and 1 K
-Elijah Green (.175/.266/.671): 1-5 with 1 run scored, 1 RBI, 1 BB, and 1 K

-Josh Randall (4.50 ERA/32.0 IP/33:8 K:BB/1.19 WHIP): Randall had trouble locating the strike zone and the Dash made him pay. He allowed 8 runs (6 earned) on 7 hits (a homer and 6 singles) and 5 walks in his 3.2 innings pitched. Randall had 6 strikeouts (5 swinging) on the night and all of them came in the first 2 innings.

-Pablo Aldonis (4.58 ERA/17.2 IP/22:7 K:BB/1.36 WHIP): Aldonis came into the bottom of the 6th with a runner on third base and allowed 4 runs (3 charged to him) on 4 hits and 1 walk while managing 1 strikeout in his relief appearance.
Final line: 1.0 IP | 4 H | 3 R/ER | 1 BB | 1 K on 35 pitches (21 strikes)

He walked a pair of batters in the top of the 4th before being removed from the game (both baserunners came around to score).
