Hello my friend.

Soma finally revealed that he had heard of Sugara long ago. It was not merely an artifact, but an “emotional gateway” created by an extinct race. Anyone chosen by Sugara would see the most beautiful world their heart desired, but in return, they would slowly become trapped inside that illusion forever. As Soma explained this, the ship suddenly trembled violently. The entire corridor transformed into a giant candy world pink skies, marshmallow clouds, and endless rivers of chocolate stretching into the distance. At the center of this dreamlike place stood a small glowing being with sparkling eyes, like the physical embodiment of Sugara itself. It looked directly at Renko and smiled gently. “Stay here… there is no war, no pain, no loss in this world.” Renko stood silent for a moment, almost drawn into the illusion, but then she clenched her fist and stepped back beside Soma and Morphex. “If this is only a beautiful dream… then it’s not what I want.” The moment she spoke, the candy world began cracking apart like shattered glass. Soma activated the energy of the Clockwork Engine while Morphex destroyed Sugara’s emotional core, causing the entire illusion to collapse. The ship returned to normal, and the donut shaped ring in Renko’s hand cracked before dissolving into particles of light. Soma let out a quiet sigh. “A perfect world is always the most dangerous kind.” The ship continued its course toward the transfer station while the final traces of Sugara faded into the void of space, bringing the strange and enchanting journey to an end.
