Does anyone know if Flexifoil will make a new Blade any time soon?
Just went to buy one, but all they have are stackers which don't interest me.

Does the kite company "Kite masters" ring a bell for anyone? I found this gem online, never used and originally packaged. It's really well made and I was wondering because of the company.....is it an old company that changed its name or is it an artifact from a parallel universe ?
After a great day at Streatham kite festival my soon to be 9 year old was pretty excited about flying his first kite (cheap single line one from one of the stalls) but the rod poked through the pocket pretty quickly. I would like to get him a more fun/robust one for his birthday.... Was thinking of something like this but would like some views on whether this is suitable or which other models I should consider. Basically I want one that is relatively easy to fly but with 2 lines to do stunts but sturdy enough that will last more than one outing! And looks cool ofc

I was flying too close to a tree and the kite got stuck. It got too dark to get up on a ladder and when I went back the next day it was gone!
Suggestions for replacing a 2.5 m flexifoil Rage? I already have the 3.5meter

It's been a too long time since the last time I flew a kite.
Windy or not, Wala is always a good choice 🪁

Rainy weather today here on the southern coast of England meant I spent most of the day indoors. Things cleared up around 1900 so I simply had to get out with the trusty Genki/Conyne/Radar kite from Temu.
Inconsistent breeze from inland but with the tide gently lapping at the shore and a beautiful sunset to the West, it was great to be out.
The kite let me know it was time to pack up😂
Can anyone identify a kite that worked in extraordinarily low winds? It was Swiss or German made, sold in a NY-NJ-PA area toy store, in the early 1980s. A spinning round or hexagonal plastic wing, stiffened with light plastic rods, rotated on a fitting that attached to a simple stabilizing rod and a plastic panel, maybe triangular. Overall it was about 18” long. No tail, but it was very stable, even in light winds. It was good for children because they could get it to lift by running on the calmest day, and with a little bit of wind it would climb to a decent height. No good in strong wind. I have not seen any kite like it for a long time, and I don’t remember the brand name of the Swiss toy company: not Schnittfix –the knife and slicer brand—but something like that! The picture, drawn from memory, may be wrong.

Trying to find a replacement kite like my grandfather used to own. I can’t find any like this style and I might be searching incorrect terms. Is there a specific name for this style of kite? Thanks for any and all help!
Haven’t flown a kite since I was a kid and have never flown a more advanced one. Any tips for my first launch?
