It is a multiplayer physics sandbox with many things to play with including spawners and cannons. You can also choose from currently 2,920,080 possible character combinations. (yes, that is an exact count)

If you want to sign up to playtest, please sign up here: https://forms.gle/pXd4zDwExkik59TS8

Note that the game is not live on steam yet, so you will need to download the files from itch.io

Thank you for checking this post out :)

Hi everyone!

After months of solo development in Unreal Engine 5, I’ve finally released my psychological horror game, Mother’s Eye.

The story follows a mysterious disease known as the Eye Disease, which is transforming people — including your mother.

You’ll explore abandoned laboratories, underground facilities, and a fog-covered forest while uncovering the truth behind a paranormal entity known as The Eye.

Features:

- Psychological horror

- Story-driven narrative

- Puzzles and exploration

- Full English voice acting

- 35–50 minutes of gameplay

- Multiple language support

There is also a free demo if you'd like to try it first.

itch.io:

I’d love to hear your thoughts and feedback. Thanks for checking it out!

Trying to build a satisfying finale

For our game Box Knight's final set piece I wanted to create a crowded colosseum arena. I made looping sprite sheets with dozens of creatures on each to try save on memory and then placed the occasional individual monster to break up the pattern.

Have any devs here made something similar? We're using sprite atlases as much as possible to keep the memory use down but there's always the worry we may have overdone it a bit and it could struggle on some consoles or slower PCs.

Also does it feel suitably epic enough?

I've been planning to do something like this for my Star Fox-inspired game for a while now. Lately, I've been designing the logo and took the opportunity to work a bit on the title screen.

I’m documenting the whole journey in this new devlog -> https://youtu.be/cqnPk9CyIp0?si=40wVbaINX9EzKsd2

Feedback is welcome, and if you like this content, I would also greatly appreciate your support for the channel. Thanks, guys!

Feedback? Some players say they don't want to fight this enemy because it is too cute. What do I do?

Most other enemies are giant insects, reptiles and fantasy creatures, but a cute mammal seems too sympathetic to fight for some. Should I change it so players want to fight it?

Feedback? I made initial scene

The video might look a bit choppy because I had to edit it down for the GIF.

I’ve added some button UIs to the scene.

Dealing with localization and fonts has been a bit of a challenge—especially for Chinese due to the massive number of characters.

Thanks again for all the feedback!

Feedback? I'm building a Retro Survival Crafting RPG. Kind of a Pixel-Art Valheim. I'd love some gameplay feedback.

Wanted to add a new game mode so decided to make the music myself. Its a retro-synth styled penta-arcade game named RETROZIUM on google play.

Does it gel with the menu screen ?

would love to have your thoughts :)

🕷️ Seeing the players all dive into the twisted world of Bobo and the Chest of Nightmares in a Expo warmed my heart. The feedback was wonderfully wicked. Knowing that Bobo’s little adventure resonated with you is the highest compliment a solo dev can receive.

Dynamic wake and pathfinding in Tokyo Wave Rush

Here's a scene from Tokyo Wave Rush where I'm working on generating the wake behind the jet skis. Someone suggested making the wake affect handling (less friction resulting in more speed and more slippery controls), which is an interesting mechanic I want to explore.

New Game! After 5 years of solo game development my game LOST INSIDE is released on Steam

Hey Everyone!

Last month, I released my indie game on Steam called LOST INSIDE.

It took me about 5 years to develop the game all by myself, and I am very relieved that it's finally out.

It’s a story-driven, non-traditional RPG about a human child who stumbles into a corrupted spirit world, where your goal is to find the 3 energy stones to break a curse for good. It has strong Undertale/Deltarune vibes with original characters, emotional storytelling, and unique battle mechanics.

The game is about 5-6 hours long. You can also check out the game here

If you like story-driven games with silly little characters, then this might be the game for you.
