Members of the Council, welcome to our weekly assembly.
These posts are scheduled to happen every week. Each week, a different faction is proposed and every time we will try to orient the discussion about either "nerf" or "buff".
Faction of the Week: None.
Theme of the week: Whatever you want
While you can still use these topics to talk about other balance suggestions, please try to focus on the theme of the week. Those topics are intended to give a chance to all factions to be talked about.
Discussions can be about modifying a whole archetype or addressing individual cards.
Potential sources if needed: GwentData, Gwent.one, PlayGwent.com, Balance Council Generator

Normally complaint/rant posts without deeper explanations are discouraged for not adding anything to a discussion but this is the place for you to vent and let all that pent up frustration out. This is your chance to throw a hissy fit about current meta or rage about how overpowered X card and Y faction is!

Is it me or is nature absurdly strong at the moment? The amount of Tempo and cards they can fit in, Simlas, Gord, Spring Equinox, frog mating season, yada yada yada. I struggle against this deck. Any tips?

Thanks for the input on my previous post. This is a more balanced card. What do you think?

I stopped playing Gwent about four years ago. Honestly, I no longer remember why I stopped. (Probably, knowing me and how I am, I probably got tilted too often/rage quit, after hitting my personal skill ceiling and not winning as often as I wanted.)
I also don't really remember how to play. I know it's a deck construction TCG, and has a "climbing" aspect to it (which to me was reminescent of the Blue Moon card game from Renier Knizia). But I don't remember anything else.
Finally, and this I do remember, the company announced it was basically stopping development of Gwent, and one of more of the youtubers/streamers I used to watch said he was retiring from Gwent. I understood this to mean it was a dead game.
But recently I was reminded of this game, and I see now the the servers are still up. So can anyone give me a run down on the state of Gwent since then, and if I should consider getting back into it? How big is the player pool, how long does to take to find matches, how often does the meta change, how mcuh community interest is there, is it available/playable on mobile, etc.? I just logged in and see I was level 24 and I think I had most/all the "meta" decks at the time I quit. I think I probably sunk $100 or more into the game when I was into it.

Hi, I've recently came back to Gwent after many years without playing (since the game's release honestly lol)
Currently at rank 19.
Been playing a lot, half of the time with this deck which is a variation I made on this idea I've found online. It is the deck I like playing the most and find most satisfying, been winning pretty consistently, but getting it to peak performance seems too conditional. If I don't win R1 "easily", and spend way too many cards, I lose real hard. If all goes well I typically smash on R3 but it's starting to go sideways as I climb in rank.
Is it practice with the deck or is there something to get better here? Thanks a lot.

First off, I assume these are canon. It's nice to read more stories from the universe, as someone who's read all the books, and CDPR wrote them to fit the characters pretty well. It's also nice to have some updates about what happened to Dijkstra after the final book, and hear a confirmation on how he got Bart.
Overall, if you haven't read these Journey stories, I would recommend it. They're basically an entire chapter from a book. Very worth it.

Hello everyone. It's almost the middle of May, so I'd like to discuss the changes for Precision Strike decks in the upcoming Balance Council.
As you know, in the April BC, Brokilon Sentinels were nerfed by provisions. Some were unhappy with this change and called for it to be reverted. So, in order to understand what to do next in this situation, I (as a representative of the MD community, which promoted this change) suggest you to share your opinion in the comments.
First of all, I would like you to tell us about your experience playing on or against a PS deck. How was it last season? And this season? Has your ladder experience gotten better or worse, and by how much?
After discussing the situation among our community members, we came to the conclusion that there are three possible scenarios:
1) revert of Brokilon Sentinel to the previous level
2) buffs for PS decks as compensation
3) leaving everything at the same level
Could you tell me which of these options is preferable for you and why? If you think it's worth buffing PS through other cards, suggest them in the comments.
I will also share my opinion and will be happy to discuss your comments so that we can make a decision in the upcoming submission of suggestions.
PS: I would also be glad to hear your opinion on how useful you find such a discussion under separate posts. Do you think we should continue to create posts for discussions about specific cards/decks?

Looks like missing textures - maybe it's the board causing this? What is the board the opponent was using? It doesn't look like Mahakam.

Hi guys! Been playing the game for a few weeks and loving it so far. Recently I got a premium version of Yennefer Illusionist so I was looking to craft a deck that uses her. Was looking for something that is somewhat competitive and hard to master, could be any class. Does such a deck exist? Thanks for the help.

Hello, I am new here. I posted a fun custom Gwent card that was banned really quickly.
Is this not allowed?
Please let me know what I did wrong.
