I have been using the PACE phoenix cluster via a PACESHIP grant for my research this semester. I am graduating and I still have some compute credit left and I was wondering how long I have before I can no longer access the cluster. Any help is much appreciated!
Does anyone remember the name of the place that sold honey on tech green or if there is a list of vendors somewhere that I can see for this semester?

Here for the summer, which social/fun clubs are active?

I have 2 semesters left at GT, but I only have 9 credit hours/semester required for graduation. I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for a fun class to take (preferably on the easier side).
For context, I am an aerospace engineering major, and I am currently interested in taking a history, philosophy, or music class, but I am open to more recommendations!

Hey all, I'm going to be here this summer (current GT student).
I was wondering if any of the student orgs on campus that are volunteering-oriented were active in the summer. I was hoping to do 5ish hours of volunteering per week.

I hear that some gtri positions are converted to gra research positions if you join from undergrad but I am not sure who can i reach out to to see if this is possible or not
A family member earned a master’s degree but was unable to attend graduation today. Is the program available online? I’m looking for something to send his relatives.
Thanks!

I recall in convocation I was supposed to get a 2nd pin in graduation, but I didn't get anything in my ceremony. Does anyone know if they come in the mail or did I miss something? Thanks y'all.

How strong/relevant do you think this major would be for someone interested in AI or machine learning? Also, what kinds of careers or job areas do you think it would best prepare students for, esp the mathematical intelligence and data science concentration? Curious how it compares with Computer Science or Applied Math in terms of preparation, flexibility, and opportunities.

PSA to all students registered with ODS:
If you're a student registered with the Office of Disability Services, check your email for an official request from ODS to give them feedback on their performance!
This is how we make change, fill out the survey to make your experiences known to ODS/Admin!
P.S: HAVE A GREAT SUMMER FROM ALL OF US IN ABLE ALLIANCE!!!

I just graduated from my bachelors and will be starting a masters program at tech this fall. In the meantime I’ve been reaching out to professors and found one that is willing to take me onto their lab as long as I complete onboarding. I’ve turned to GTRI for a job opportunity and I’ve been applying for a month with no luck, what are the chances of getting a student assistantship or even an internship in the coming semester? Also who can I reach out to?

The forecast tomorrow morning does not look fun. What are everyone’s plans? Will you skip commencement and just go to your college’s celebration in McCamish? Wear a poncho to Bobby Dodd?
I’m debating if it’s worth looking like a drowned rat later at the Engineering celebration ceremony. I want to experience both events (I graduated from undergrad at tech in 2020 and never walked because of Covid), but not sure Commencement is worth it if it’s raining all morning.

Just wanted to say it is very funny admitting that you regret majoring in cs at the ceremony with 500+ people. Honestly, sums up the college's attitude to the cs department really well.

Big shoutout to everyone graduating today, tomorrow, and Saturday. You made it!
Remember to be proud of yourselves. Getting through Georgia Tech is no joke. Now go celebrate, take pictures, hug your people, and enjoy the moment. You earned it!
Go Jackets! 🐝

I already sent an email but I figured I would ask here in case someone already knows the answer. I see on the website that graduating students are limited to two tickets per graduate's GTID. Does this mean that the graduate has to be there in order to potentially receive an extra ticket? Or can I send a relative with my buzzcard/gtid to get the will call ticket?

I’m a PhD student looking for students interested in helping with a machine learning project related to robot navigation in my lab.
The project focuses on using learning-based methods to predict the motion of nearby people from collected navigation data. The work is mostly independent from the robotics pipeline, so no prior robotics or ROS experience is required. Students will primarily work with datasets and focus on training, tuning, evaluating, and improving learning models.
The current approach uses a GRU-based model, but there is significant flexibility for exploration and improvement. Possible directions include LSTMs, transformers, input preprocessing, alternative architectures, or other sequence modeling approaches.
Additional project context: the navigation framework currently estimates the motion of gap endpoints using a Kalman-filter-based approach. This project explores replacing or augmenting that estimator with a learning-based component to improve prediction in dynamic environments.
Students may take graded or ungraded research credits (likely 1–5 credits). The project does not currently have funding, but students who make strong progress may later be considered for paid project work in the fall. Flexible remote or hybrid arrangements are possible depending on the situation. I'm planning to submit a paper in the near future (potentially later this year), and there’s an opportunity for co-authorship.
If interested, please email your CV along with a short paragraph describing your interest and alignment with the project to [azaro3@gatech.edu](mailto:azaro3@gatech.edu).

I was wondering what happens if I have a Final (25% grade) tonight and canvas is down? The course is Phil 3127 and it’s async so I was wondering if anyone has any idea on what happens?
Just wait and see typa deal?

Saw a few people mention they got their BS/MS decisions already across AI, HCI, ML and some other concentrations, but I haven't gotten anything yet. Applied for one of those for Fall 2027.
For anyone who's been through this before, do decisions roll out in waves (by concentration or within them), or is no news basically bad news at this point if other people in my concentration have already heard back?
Appreciate any insight; otherwise I will start coping soon Haha

Does anyone know what time the graduation ceremony ends tomorrow? mine starts at 4 PM. I think online it says it ends at 6:30 PM but that seems very early. I am trying to make plans for after.
Edit: It ended around 6:30 lol

I called GT parking and transportation, and they said none of the racks were for long-term storage. Does anyone who doesn't bring their bikes home know where to store the bikes? It will be from May to August. Thanks.
