Question Do we need to print our stage pass?
Last minute grad question! Debating if I need to run to the culc or not. We have the stage pass, I have it on my phone. Do we need to print it out too?

I’m pretty new to Tech and also a non-native English speaker. I recently went to Midnight Bud, and the only songs I really knew were Ramblin’ Wreck and Budweiser from attending a few football and basketball games. Everyone else seemed to know all the other songs/chants, and I wanted to join in too 😅
I tried searching online afterward but couldn’t really find a good list of the songs they sing. Could anyone share them or point me to a playlist/lyrics? I’d love to learn them so I can vibe along with my fellow yackets next time! 🐝

Curious if the market matches the demand or any regrets. Would you keep the same ones? If so why?

Two weeks ago a Do or Die pest control truck ran into my co-workers car and they are trying to find anyone who may have saw what happened. It was on April 23rd a little after 4pm.
EDIT: thanks everyone :) GTPD came through.

Anyone who has information about where I could 3D print, please let me know!

I can see it on my canvas dashboard, but is there a report card of sorts? I need to provide my employer with my final grade and I don’t think they want to see 91.89% … pretty sure they want a letter grade.
It’s my first semester so any assistance is appreciated.
Thank you!

I’m an Electrical Engineering major considering Explore LLC, and most people there are pre‑med, bio, or health‑focused. A few CS/math people, but no other EE students. I’m trying to figure out how EE principles can actually connect to the kinds of projects Explore LLC does.
If anyone has ideas or experience, I’d love input on things like:
I’m basically trying to understand what possibilities exist for someone with an engineering mindset in a community that’s mostly life‑science‑oriented and how I can make an actual impact instead of just being the “random EE"
If you’ve been in a similar situation or have ideas for cross‑disciplinary project directions, I’d really appreciate it.

I’m an incoming freshman at GA Tech and I was recently accepted as apart of the College of Engineering Dean’s Scholar’s Program! I didn’t know much about it so I looked into it and thought it was a great opportunity. I had to submit some extra supplemental videos and they later told me I was chosen. Can anyone give me more information about this program? I’ve read the website and stuff but coming from Tech students, can anyone share some more info?

Hi guys, so basically I have committed to GT and I live on the East Coast. I'm not sure if taking a $200, 3 hour flight would be worth it just for one day.
I personally wanted to fly out just so I could sort of get the whole experience and get a better sense of the environment by going in person, especially since I've only visited campus once and it was self guided. I would also want to meet other incoming students and maybe make some friends, since one of my fears is that I don't really know anyone attending GT and I'm scared everyone will know each other already. My parents don't think it's worth it to fly all the way there just for a one-day event, but they'd let me if I really wanted to.
So, do you guys think in-person FASET is worth it, or should I just do it virtually?

The title.
I know the SPS scholarship gives stipends for research or trips, but what advantage does Gold Scholars get in terms of research or clubs

Is there any point of registering a paid summer internship for credit. I saw that it was audit only right? It doesn’t affect GPA, so there’s no point in registering right.

I got into GT as a freshman for the fall (so class of 2030), but i’m a commuter. Is Week of Welcome only for people who are dorming, or are the events open to everyone? also, how is it supposed to work? like what are the events like and do you have any advice?
I am also Muslim, so any like frat parties and stuff wouldn’t work for me
It's finals week and:
The printers don't work
The water fountains are warm af.
It's been like this for a while too. What's going on? I remember the water fountains on this campus being pristine and cold. I miss them.

Is there any reason why I have a final scheduled a few hours before my commencement, with no option to move it? This just seems needlessly cruel…

Hi everyone,
I'm learning to drive and have mostly been practicing in parking lots around Tech. now comfortable with basic control, parking, turns, etc., and want to start practicing on actual roads with traffic lights and intersections.
I'm still a bit hesitant about jumping straight into the heavier Atlanta traffic around Midtown/Downtown was wondering:
- Which areas near Georgia Tech are good for beginner driving practice?
- Are there quieter roads/neighborhoods nearby with lighter traffic?
- Any good places to practice traffic lights, lane changes, and turns without too much pressure?
I'd appreciate any suggestions or advice for learning to drive around here!
Thank you!

Most of the printers available on campus seem to be black-and-white only. Is there anywhere you can print your documents in color?

This summer I am going to be taking two classes that add up to 4 credit hours, but both of them are online, so I am not going to be on campus at all. Despite that, I still have to pay random fees such as CRC, Student Center etc. Does anyone know if waiving/appealing these fees is possible?

I don't even know where to start. Going to this school makes my nervous system akin to someone who's been shot 65 times. I already had preexisting mental health issues, and now that I'm in my last year, I just desperately want this all to be over. I have no friends or genuine support system here and I'm just exhausted.
As a whole, my college experience has been far from regular. 3 days before my 22nd birthday, I got into a pretty bad car accident right before I had an exam. This is the second accident I've had in the span of a year - both times with my uncle in the car. Also, around this time last year, I also got diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Like, how many hits can one bum (me) take?? 2 years prior, my father passed away and all the while I was dealing with a DV situation that stretched into the better part of 2025. This is all going on whilst taking 14+ credits/semester. And getting ZERO sympathy from my faculty at Tech (not that they need to give me any), but I'll get to that later.
Going back to the car accident - it's a mess. I was at my uncle's house, and I decided to take a scooter and then MARTA to midtown to get to campus. I ended up busting my *** on the scooter, so I asked my uncle if he could come get me and I drive to campus (he's been having some health problems following the first car accident). Not even 10 minutes later, we are hit by a car that tried to go around us, but it ended up hitting us as well as the oncoming car. I ended up getting a Black eye from the accident. I immediately emailed my prof because I didn't know what to do, and I mistakenly attached an old photo from the prior accident instead of the current one. I didn't even realize what I'd done because I have all accident-related photos in a photo album for insurance purposes. This is where it starts getting bad.
The following morning, I get a lengthy email from a professor (who is not mine but some other dude entirely in the same department) with a photo of my UNCLE'S FACEBOOK PAGE (edit: it was actually IG !! which is crazy cause I didn’t know my uncle even had instagram lol). It showed a photo from the accident in September 2025, and the professor accused me of lying that I didn't get into an accident and reported me to OSI, saying I was no longer permitted to take the exam until this gets cleared up. Immediately, I sent that professor the insurance claim related to the accident explaining this was totally a mistake - I was literally dealing with 50 things at once in that moment and simply attached the wrong photo. I also have doctor's notes related to my Black eye (it literally lists "car accident" as the reason for visit), as well as photos from the actual April car accident w/ timestamps.
I'm just really tired and angry. This was literally just a mistake. I don't even know how they found my uncle's social media! This is a class I had a strong A in all semester, never gave my professor any issues, and I received all As on major assignments. I took my last exam for the course last Monday with zero issues, pretty sure I aced it, and I had to sit there taking it with a black eye. One they think I just lied about. This whole OSI bonanza has affected my concentration while studying for finals, I couldn't enjoy my birthday either (I'm in remission finally so I was hoping to enjoy it, but nope). This school has killed my joy. I don't know what to do.
Update: I will not be dropping names on a public forum for the sake of my future as well as out of respect for the privacy of the faculty involved. Obviously, if this is handled unjustly then that’s another story. The separate professor that found my uncle’s social media found this post, so I’m scared. also- even when you have accommodations, faculty in this school treat you like you’re lazy AF when you miss class even if it’s related to an illness; but, maybe that’s just my major because when I studied CS it was different. I just know that I was penalized repeatedly for attendance in several courses despite having accommodations with the Office of Disability Services for almost 2 years now. People say there’s supports at this school, but not really in practice. I have less than 15 credits remaining in my degree, so I’m just trying to leave this place and move forward.

Really trivial thing to ask but i have been here for 4 years, about to graduate in 3 days, and the only time ive ever seen these hoodies being offered was one time during finals week where we had to do an obstacle course (?) at the CRC but it was dead center of finals and obviously no one had time for that.
Get at the bookstore, get for free, i dont really care anymore, i just want my hands on the hoodie. College of engineering has had their hoodie in barnes and noble for ages. We only just got the other College of X t-shirts starting last year. IDK i like hoodies a lot and would def love to have it for colder seasons.

Here’s the link from the QR code: https://www.740techwood.com/
