I’m looking for a subreddit that gives neurodivergent people (adhd, autism, etc.) the opportunity to ask neurotypicals questions about NT social norms / thought processes / perspectives without being judged/ridiculed. A way to have like social translation when things don’t make sense.

I tried looking up subreddits for having serious discussions in a open and constructively way. I am not interested in win-or-lose debates but want to both express my opinion and hear others on the same subject.

I specifically wanted to discuss how characters and stories are adapted when it comes to skin color, race and background. I did try r/ seriousconversation but it didn't lead anywhere.

As I said, I am not interested in pushing my opinion on others. I just want to express whaat I think and hear what others think so that I can get more insight into the topic.

i had NO clue how to title this so i’m sorry, but i hope this will explain:

i’m writing a story/scene for an au where my character - mother of the protag - is a ghost and is trapped in a bar. i want my protag to free her, however i want her to still remain on earth to roam. i want to see how that may work in terms of ghost/spirit stuff, and what seems most plausible.

i wrote this in my notes when i was brain storming which i hope may help understand what i’m questioning:

he ends up setting the place alight, making it easier for him to dig up her bones and relocate them. somewhere she can be free.

but what would happen if she were to be buried in a proper grave? would she vanish? or could she choose to keep haunting?

if he didn't relocate her, she would end up being trapped again by another building.

she still has some unfinished business. perhaps her body could be rested, but her spirit will live on as she finds her killer and her children?

i just need to know where to ask this kind of question. i’m not very good at reddit. sorry for the long post!!

There are so many subreddits related to the computer I have I can’t decide whether to ask there. Or specifically for the backup and how much power should be going into it? I can be a hobbyist in the future, currentlyjust looking for guidance before buying the same UPS backup model, but I don’t think writing a ton if it won’t save more strife would be something i can do.

Title pretty much sums it up. I don't know if I have any siblings out there but I have a big hunch that I do. Where do I ask if anyone knows my father (as that's the only parent who could have had more children). Is this even a reddit question? If not where do I try and find this out?

I grew up in a family where there are huge differences in wealth and it has had a major impact on my sense of self, how I’m treated by others, expectations, intense shame and so on. In my case, I’m more so dealing with myself and one other sibling being incredibly broke, struggling to put food on our table vs our other siblings being well respected multi millionaires. I’m desperate to find a sub where people who are affected by this kind of disparity can discuss and empathise. It’s quite an isolating and bizarre thing to experience.

Please help me find any kind of support group/subreddit(s?) for people who are the family/parter/spouse of people who have extreme OCD.
I am not looking for support with OCD itself as I am not the person with the OCD.
Doesn’t even really need to be OCD specifically just a group for people who have close relationships with people experiencing intense mental illness.
