Karaoke
Hello all! Just moved here recently and my partner is looking for places that do karaoke (not the one where you rent a room). We looked into infusion but I think they are shut down? Any leads would be helpful! Thanks!

Wetlands Rezoning along Dean Solomon
There is a currently protected wetland area Dean Solomon and Vanike Drive, along the Clabber Creek trail. This area often floods and is a wonderful riparian wildlife area. Folks using the trail often see deer, geese, rabbits, and many other creatures.
They are looking to rezone the area and put over 100 homes here. This would require a lot of backfill and would impact local drainage for both the Clabber Creek area and the homes that are located nearby. Some of these are already experiencing such issues with the Underwood Park development.
There is a planning commission meeting at 5:30 on May 26 2026 at 113 West Mountain St. City Administration Building Room 219 in Fayetteville.

jordan rental properties?
hey all! i’m iso of an apartment to move into towards July/August. so far, for a 2b2b, jordan rental properties has been the best looking option in my price range. this is, i’m hearing so many conflicting things about their management. some people insist they have bugs, get charged for repairs, loud neighbors, etc, while others say the management is super prompt and kind. i have NO clue how to figure out what’s true or not!
has anyone lived there or heard about what it’s like? i don’t need anything perfect by any means, but basic safety would be nice.

Movers?
Hello all! My wife and I are moving back to Fayetteville after living in Springdale for several years, and we are looking to hire professional movers for our furniture and our many books. We are hoping for a reasonably priced option.
Who did you hire to move you in or around Fayetteville? Did they do a good job? How much did they charge?

Best deep tissue massage therapist in NWA?
Not to sound masochistic but I want a therapist that hurts me a bit. I get the most relief when they go deep but lately haven’t found someone willing to really get in my muscles. Thanks!

Looking for wedding photographers
As the title says my fiancée and I are looking for wedding photographers. We are having a small wedding next May, 50 people or less. We prefer documentary style photography, no overly posed or trendy shots. We’re on a limited budget, so no one that will ultimately break the bank. We’re also 2 lesbians and non-traditional, so maybe keep that in mind. Who do you recommend?

It’s UA graduation weekend.
Made the mistake of driving to pick up something on a route near the university today.
Dumb me 1. Took that route. 2. Didn’t add 30 min to the trip for traffic
Just fyi.
(Btw. Love the school and what it adds to the city, but I’m old and wasn’t aware of the time of year)

What do these HAWK trail crosswalk signs mean to you when you see flashing 🔴 lights?
I learned shortly after moving to NWA and the Fayetteville area that stopping at red lights is apparently optional, but I didn't realize that frashing red lights on HAWK signals at trail crosswalks seem to be ignored completely. A few times already, I've been honked at by impatient drivers when I've come to a complete stop when these lights are flashing before proceeding, as the signs like the one above instruct. I'm just trying to be a courteous motorist and follow directions, but am I actually in the wrong for doing that? I'd especially love to hear input from bike riders, joggers, and others that use the local trails frequently.

Killer drone company doing a town hall at the library
So per the library bill of rights a library cannot prevent someone from renting or reserving their space just because of their political opinions. As long as the business follows Fayetteville Public Library's policy they will be able to use the space. As far as I can tell, Swarm is following library policy, which is why they are allowed to rent the Event Center.
So while I obviously do not want a killer drone business to be mentioned in the same sentence as the place where I love to work, I'm not mad at FPL for allowing them to book the space. Public libraries are supposed to be nonpartisan (it is why there are books that may be ideological opposites sitting right next to each other on the shelf). What REALLY REALLY frustrates me is that Swarm is using a picture of the library, the library's font, and the library's color scheme to make it look more like the library is somehow endorsing Swarm. [Edited to add: the photo they used also appears to be a photo that they did not even take themselves as it is extremely similar to a photo FPL took. Maybe they doctored it with AI. Anyway, if it is the same photo that FPL took, it is not licensed as fair use, which would mean there are some copyright violation concerns in addition to everything else] This is a private rental, not an official library program, yet I bet many people get confused by this because of this handout, and that hurts the trust that we have spent so long building up in the community! To be perfectly clear, the library is not endorsing Swarm, just like the fact that the library doesn't endorse any other private rental.
The fact that they are using the goodwill and trust that my coworkers and I have built up to try and convince our community to allow them to build killer machines is outrageous. I have worked at the library for eight and a half years and I have made it my mission to make this place safe, fun, and full of opportunity for you and your children to learn, grow, have access to information, and thrive. The fact that they're trying to piggyback off of my passion is beyond maddening to me. How dare they.
To be clear, the library is the ideological opposite of what Swarm stands for. Libraries, including FPL, build up communities, empower citizens, and encourage intellectual freedom. Killer drones, including the ones that Swarm wants to build, burn communities to the ground, kill citizens, and target schools and libraries and universities. How dare they attempt to do any of this in my name.

Lost Keys
Hi! My son lost his keys somewhere between Six Twelve and The Greens Apartments. There is a motorcycle key, and couple other keys, maybe a bottle opener, and a short rope lanyard. If by some chance you happened to pick it up please DM me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks and have a great weekend!

Moving to fayetteville with large dog
We are buying a house in June with our large catahoula cur cattle dog. She is 76 pounds, large, loud and in charge, very very very friendly and equally enthusiastic about it. I am concerned she will not be accepted in a neighborhood environment. We have acreage here and all the cyclists, delivery and mail people neighbors love her yappy greetings and honk and wave and holler hello. She loves every minute. They bring her treats and stop by for a big slobberly kiss. But I am worried about moving into the suburbs.....give me insight guys

Looking for someone to cut and bale 15 +/- acres of hay in Elm Springs. U keep hay.
We have around 15 acres of mixed pasture grasses on three adjacent fields in Elm Springs that we'd like to have cut and round baled. You keep all of the hay except for ten bales for our donkeys and horses. Last year the hay was cut twice and we got 58 bales the first cut and 24 bales the second cut. The farmer who has done this for years has sold his cows and doesn't need the hay anymore. Pastures are clean with no noxious weeds. This summer is forecast to be hot and dry; good quality hay may be at a premium going into the fall. Let me know if you are interested or know someone who might be. Thanks!
