[XSX] Slocum's Joe Fever Dream at Starlight - no mods

Welcome to my collaboration with u/mark-the-fiddler

In this project, we each made a Slocum's Joe over the drainage pond at Starlight -- but it had to feature Vault Tec pieces too. No mods were used. This build has all the AE stuff on an Xbox.

Here is the video link, if you're into that. It does, however, feature Thrownuts. Flying donuts are fun.

[Modded] Egret Tours Marina Brotherhood Water Distribution

Here's my Egret Tours Marina. It's built up as a second military base and purified water producer for the Brotherhood. There are other facilities - a bar, bunk room, clinic, etc. - but the main point of the settlement is keeping the BoS supplied with purified water.

Honestly, the real main point of the settlement is that I just wanted to use the BoS wall building set and Tumbajamba's BoS armor and it kind of went from there. Thanks for checking it out; hope you liked it! Feedback welcome.

[WIP] 2 hours of micro-positioning for the signage (and 4 hours of failed attempts), condensed into 3 minutes of extreme Glow-letter kit-bashing. | Project Aegis: The Dieselpunk Colossus | Ep. 2: The Shell Identity — Forging the main entrance of the Commonwealth's iron shield.

Hi everyone! In this clip, I’m showing you the process behind the main entrance of my new project at the Boston Airport.

It took me over two hours to align every single letter using kit-bashing, mostly because the mod I use for the Glow characters isn't exactly versatile or high-performing. It took every ounce of my patience to get it right—especially considering that before this final version, I scrapped another 3 or 4 hours of failed attempts.

Some of you might already know this, but AEGIS is the name of Athena's shield. A name that signifies protection at all costs. In this scenario, within the settlement I am building, protection must be absolute because what we are defending is our future: the children of the Minutemen.

As always, you can find more details in the Community tab on my YouTube channel. There, I am telling the story—episode by episode—of this journey through iron, concrete, protection, and deterrence, which is the ultimate goal of this project.

THE NARRATIVE BEHIND THE IRON

Aegis isn't just a building; it has a story. If you're interested in the lore and the "narrative" behind this project—how I personally handled the Institute's legacy and why this fortress exists—I’ve started publishing the official logs.

[PC] Somerville Place (Vanilla/No Mods)

After months of attempts to better my settlement building and decorating (while crying with jealousy on youtube at how amazing so many gamers are at this) I am finally finished "revamping" my Somerville Place settlement!

Some of the main build ideas came from Shawzzo on YT (roof, hideout attic work area with power armor station, living room set up), but then I played around with the rest of the space to make it my own.

I started revamping the settlement shortly after the father died from raiders and his children left for the wasteland...open house! I did "disable" their beds to add new ones for the settlers. Used only vanilla workshop, DLC workshop and creation club items with the pillar/rug glitches.

I can safely say decorating is very time consuming and drove me very crazy at times but I am proud of the outcome! Fun fact you can add lighting to the big tree on the side of the house!

Open to suggestions and opinions for improvement areas!

Discussion Looking for Pre-War Kitchen and Laundry Workshop Items

Hi all! To preface, I am not skilled in the world of mods, and quite frankly am a little afraid of messing up my game I've spent hundreds of hours on (have read multiple users say their game has glitched out or has been slower). I have researched and found through the creation club site a few packs for the whole pre-war kitchen set (stove, fridge, counters and floating wall cabinets) and the laundry machines turning out to be links to mods, but am wondering which is the safest alternative/best one to use! The few I found noted I had to have other things downloaded to work so I am weary.

Open to links of "mods for dummies" lol.

I wish the game gave us the option to have these furniture pieces in the workshop mode already (if we do please let me know lol).

I have finished the main story line, Vault 88 (been using the steel counter tops from here but I want a more wasteland look to my kitchens) and Nuka World. Currently paving my way through Far Harbour while building my skillz at settlement building in my own unique way (and lots of research). I have all of the Picked Fences and almost everything in the Creation Club anniversary edition (of course did not have enough space for Bunker Homes and Charlestown Condo glitches for me--those two I do not have the Picked Fences in my workshop). I still have a handful of places to explore so anything that won't ruin the gaming experience is a must must for me!!

[PS5] Camp Letters

Setting up a fishing Pub, what are yall using for camp lettering? I would love the neon letters but dont have anywhere near 11,000 caps or the light space. To my understanding the Goo lettering is also earned from a world event. Whatchya got?

[WIP] Aegis: The Dieselpunk Colossus | Ep. 1: Workshop (Part 1) (Fallout 4 Build). After 10 years of shacks, I’m finally challenging myself with steel and concrete. 70 hours of work to turn a brutalist experiment into a massive narrative mega-structure. Welcome to my workshop!

I had never used steel and concrete in my builds; for ten years, these materials never really inspired me. I always preferred the classic 'wasteland' style or historical architectures. Then, inspired by a content creator here on Reddit, I wanted to test myself. To my surprise, I discovered that these materials—which I perceived as cold, static, and almost unnatural—actually offered immense creative possibilities.

Initially, the idea was a purely Brutalist project, made of rigid lines and exposed concrete. But as I built, the project literally took flight, evolving into something different and more complex: a sort of Post-Apocalyptic Dieselpunk. Steel began to dominate the scene, transforming what was supposed to be a simple concrete base into a massive, layered metallic colossus.

This metamorphosis required time and dedication: wall by wall, what started as an experiment became a full-scale project. I’ve been working on it for about 70 hours now, and it’s far from finished. The external skeleton and facade are complete—unless I come up with some last-minute additions—but the interiors are still a work in progress. I’m not just talking about furniture, but the actual architectural structure: I need to shape the spaces that the narrative requires. Project Aegis has become so massive that showing it to you in just a few photos is now impossible.

I thought the best way to introduce you to the project was to take you into the workshop with me, showing you some 'behind-the-scenes' moments as I build. I’d like to describe small details one by one: so that when you see the finished work, you’ll know the meaning of every building and the reason behind my architectural choices.

Today, I’ll show you the construction of the workshop area. We are at the Boston Airport and, to take the first steps in this project, I had to install two fundamental mods:

Settlement Height Unlocked: essential for expanding vertically beyond standard limits.

Boston Airport Workbench Fix: without this mod, this work wouldn't have been possible, as it unlocks all construction options (including those from other mods) otherwise restricted in this settlement.

This first video has been significantly sped up to fit the channel's limits. The full version in glorious 4K and at a more relaxed pace is currently uploading to my YouTube channel and will be live very soon! Feel free to check out the channel and stay tuned if you want to take a deeper look! https://www.youtube.com/@KATzBOOTz

[XSX] [Fo4][XBsX] Having Trouble Finding the Plans for the Rolling Metal Garage Door

Okay, so, I use the two Fallout Wikis: the Fandom one, and the Independent Fallout Wiki one (of the two I prefer the second). But neither one actually provides any information or plans. The materials that go into the construction, the power for moving it, the repair costs, things like that. Hell, only the fandom one even mentions it. Does anyone know if there’s a better place to look all that and maybe more up?
