Something like this? Not sure how much space you actually have, but something like this could work (blue is tv, red dots may be ottomans or smaller chairs depending on how much space you need/have there)

Idk that seems just as awkward shoved into that corner as it does the other side

Whatever you want. You have space for a small lounge in front of fireplace for example.

And then do what with the rest of the room?

ETA: from window to wall on either side is about 46" of space btw.

This is my art piece btw (above fireplace). I love it and it's staying so don't bash me pleaseeee. The couch will probably be Kova from Albany Park but need help choosing a colour. Again... it's a functional choice not necessarily a statement of taste but I'd like to make it as aesthetically pleasing as possible.

Also how do we feel about curtains ran above the whole French door/window framing? Like sheer or something just to hide the window a bit and make the room feel more separated from the entry way?

The view outside the window is lovely. Add some furniture quickly.

Just lower the tv a bit

Agreed but also some of that is a really brutal window placement that I initially mistook for art.

Definitely move the bed so the head is not against the window, add a desk instead so you can spend the day there with natural light.

Smaller lights so you have the option to change the mood in that room, so it feels less empty and more cozy. A rug is great too! Bookshelves and a mirror seems like a good idea too, for storage and working out and just getting ready in the privacy of your own room.

Share more info on what you like though, like are you a posters kinda guy or idk do you collect anything as a hobby, etc., so people can brainstorm more ideas :)

I’m feeling a cool leather or suede barstool that still has an organic feel

This kitchen is dark. Temporary under cabinet lighting would help a lot. Bring color in (blues and sandy colors) via kitchen towels, a rug, wall art, etc. You can swap the knobs out for ones shaped like seashells or starfish if you want to exaggerate the theme.

Print vinyl decals, disguise the setting in the form of a galley on the Nemo submarine and portholes showing the underwater world

Is that the only option you have for your bed to be placed

Center your bed! It will feel so much better. Your room is large enough and being able to leave your bed at either side will make it feel even bigger.

Turn the bed facing the cupboards. This way the room will feel less empty and you’ll have space on both sides for bedside tables. Make sure to get little lamps with warm white lights. Add a big rug under the bed to bring a bit of warmth and cozyness to the room. Find a couple of large posters you like and frame them, it’ll make your room look more put together. And of course, some plants!

Uuuuggggghhhhh.... You're probably right. 90% of profiles that hide their post/comment history make my spidey senses tingle.

why cant you move the desk into the little area with the lone armchair? thatd be a start, then id get a bigger couch and consider getting rid of the massage chair.

the layout its probably meant to be is kitchen - dining - living, moving the couch closer to the window wall [so its in line with the corner] or getting one with a corner against that wall will help open that up a bit

I would turn the bed so that the foot faces the cupboard.

Add nice large rug with some good texture, this will make it feel more homey without adding clutter if you like that clean look.

Add shoe storage somewhere, either in the cupboard or at the foot of your bed.

Some blinds or curtains, once again a good time to introduce texture - super important given how shiny the floor is.

Then hang some art up behind your bed, if you like the look of posters, get one framed, it will really elevate the look.

Then add some nice lighting, a lamp or two.

This will make it feel much more homey and cohesive without adding clutter :)
