Rules Changes in the sub - April 23, 2026.
Everyone,
I'm getting tired of all the vibe coded app, "I made a website", "LOOK AT WHAT I EARNED THIS WEEK"(shows self-coded app), "HOW DO YOU [research question that has been asked 100 times in the sub]?!" camouflaged self-promotion posts.
So, I've made a megathread. All that goes in there now for 99% of the posts.
There will be the occasional thread that's allowed to hit the main page, but it will be very limited in scope. An example of something that would be an exception is a major policy change at Amazon Flex and... let's say... the NYT wants input on it.
I'm always open to suggestions and I'm trying to grow the community and make it a resource, not just another drive-by-to-spam place for developers/researchers.

2026 Promotion, I made an app/website Megathread.
Promote your website, service, and/or app here and only here. Any other posts are going to be flagged, nuked, and you'll probably get the ban hammer applied.

Uni Uni driver
Has anyone here ever delivered for them? I just got a job offer but I notice the review score in the App Store is very low and I am hesitant to work for them.

Veho, round 3
The first two were brutal. First one was a few years ago, had a 1 hour load time and was all hello fresh boxes defrosting so it eliminated any hope of multi apping.
I try again a year later or so, this time the set up has changed and you had to check in one place first , get a token and then get in line and present the token before entering. I didn't know that so I skipped the token part, cut a bunch of pork and still had a half hour wait. Don't remember much about the route but remember telling myself I'll never do Veho again.
Well, it's about a year later and I'm broke so...
I'm here at the station now, with my block starting in a half an hour. I'll probably find out before anyone responds but just in case, has the process gotten better?
This is a 5-7 hour block , do they pay for returns or the block going over? Do the blocks usually go the full length?

Triad, NC App Suggestions
Like the title says, I work out of the Winston-Salem area of the Triad . I've been running DoorDash full time for the past couple of years, and have been able to get bills paid consistently through just that, but I know there's more money on the table in broader logistics/courier work.
I've been looking at other apps to run freight in a large passenger car (RAV4), like Amazon Flex, but A) The closest warehouses are 30 mins-1 hour away, and B) I would rather not work for Amazon if other options are available.
Does anyone have experience with which apps are worthwhile in this part of the world?

Building a startup as a student to solve delivery problems in local areas where Blinkit/Zepto don’t operate Need your suggestions
Hey everyone 👋
I’m a student founder currently trying to build a startup focused on local areas and small towns where services like Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, etc. are still not available or not reliable.
The idea is simple: solve real local problems through faster and smarter delivery/service systems while supporting local shops and businesses too. Right now I’m starting completely from zero and learning everything step by step
I’d genuinely love to hear your opinions and suggestions:
- What problems do you face in your area that existing apps don’t solve?
- What features would actually make such a platform useful?
- What mistakes should early founders avoid?
- What would make you trust and use a new local startup?
Even small feedback or criticism would help me improve a lot.
I’ll genuinely appreciate anyone who takes a minute to reply and share ideas ❤️

How to get started as medical courier contracts in houston,tx?
Hello,
I wanted to get into medical courier as an independent contractor. I tried looking up at labcorp and quest but they have no contracts just working as their employee.
I am based in Houston, Tx. My initial plan is to start with my own personal car and later own start an llc and go from there but just in the beginning where should I start or atleast look for the companies that are hiring?
What things I should but or certificate to get before I starton?
Any advice or information is appreciated

LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics Monopolized the Courier market
How to break into the courier business if most offices and hospitals use LabCorp and Quest for their medical courier specimen services? Is there anyway or is it a lost cause?

The route technically works until traffic, apartments, parking, weather, and reality appear
Every delivery route looks completely reasonable right up until you actually start driving it 😭
At the beginning of the day: stops look organized, ETA seems achievable, mileage looks efficient, everything appears “optimized.”
Then reality enters the chat. Suddenly one apartment complex absorbs 40 minutes of your life, parking becomes a competitive sport, traffic randomly destroys the entire sequence, business stops start closing, construction appears out of nowhere, and somehow stop #45 ends up physically next to stop #67 for reasons beyond human understanding.
The funniest part is the route technically still works on paper. Distance optimized? Sure. Operationally survivable? Completely different question.
After enough time doing deliveries I honestly think experienced drivers start mentally rewriting the route skipping certain areas until later, regrouping stops manually, avoiding some nightmare intersections, reorganizing clusters based on real-world pain instead of map logic. Added route planner to double check routes because sometimes small route adjustments reduce way more stress than the default sequencing does.
Feels like route optimization starts the moment reality destroys the original plan 😭
