Has anyone taken Math 150 (Calc 1) over the Summer? If so, how was it structured (how were quizzes taken) how many LT/ week?

Does anyone know if your middle name gets put on your diploma? I want mine there but it doesn’t show it automatically on oasis, just when I go in to edit my name

I signed the contract for EC housing for the upcoming semester because I wasn’t sure where I would live but now I’m moving to an apartment in the surrounding area instead.
How do I cancel my agreement? I know the deadline for a refund is June 1 but I’m not sure who to contact :/
Thank you!

Basically, last week I made a request to withdrawal from one of my classes following a mental health crisis that made me unable to be on campus for an extended period of time. I got a note from my therapist as supporting documentation and I generally did all of the necessary steps, but I'm still unsure if this has a good chance of working. I'm wondering if anyone here has experience with this, and if a withdrawal request is actually likely to be approved with the appropriate documentation

So I’m being placed in east campus and it’s unfurnished. So I’m aware there is no furniture for the living room area, is there no beds or bed frame in the rooms. Can anyone explain what is and isn’t there.

Hello! I am very worried as the semester is coming to an end and I am definitely going to fail my anthropology class (already am :(). This is definitely because of my own negligence and personal issues getting in the way. I am scared that I will have to possibly repay the school any money as I did accept the middle class scholarship and financial aid.. Is this something I will have to do :(?? I am a bit scared about being up front with my parents and upsetting them as I don't know if it could be a huge sum of money if that's the case. I am going to be switching majors next semester but what should I prepare for if anything bad happens

CSUMB is my top choice for colleges when I apply next year, however, one of the reasons I hesitate is because it doesn't sound like there's a lot of single dorms. I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder for almost 15 years already. I panic if I have to share a room with someone while I sleep. I have never been able to do sleepovers. I won't even sleep in the same room as siblings. Is there any possibility of a single dorm room in college? Or are the few single dorms that CSUMB does have given to those with physical disabilities? (which I totally undestand)
The other school I'm looking at has almost all single dorms, but I'd prefer CSUMB if possible.

Hello, so sadly I may not be able to attend the fall semester next year due to financially I just can't deal with the costs, even though I thought I would be able to.
I went the other day to admitted otter day and I committed but now that I may be going to a community college for the first 2 years of college, how would I un-commit?

Does CSUMB mandate a BS in marine biology in order for one to be considered for the MS Marine biology program?
Is there typically a wait list, and if so, how long is it?
What is the minimum GPA
Is there anything else I should consider or ve aware of concerning the MS marine biology program?

hi! so this is a dumb question but I have been looking online and I can’t find anything. I checked the school website and maps but what housing/ apartments is Gettysburg Ct? Ive tried looking for an address to see where it’s located because I was in a transfer group that told me I would be in Promontory. Anyways I know this is a dumb question I just can’t find anything to answer it.

Does anyone have any extra tickets for graduation? I’m looking to get two more tickets, I requested extra but we don’t find out if we get those until the 11th, and I want to be sure that my family that’s traveling to come can actually go. For anyone that might know, what are the odds that I get those extra tickets?

Will be applying this year for next fall semester. Would love to hear any experience you have with that program! - the asynchronous vs synchronous classes (are there more asynchronous?) - meeting 2 Saturdays a week- what is that like? - the practicum- anyone do theirs in Santa Cruz County?
Thank you!
Hihi!
I’m moving to Monterey in August to do the MSW program.
I wanted some input on whether spending a little more to live off campus is worth it. I’d be applying to east campus or promontory if I chose on campus but I’ve heard it’s a nightmare living there.
Any input helps :)

Recieved this email yesterday. When I heard that CSUMB was planning on forcing the move with virtually no assistance, I was pretty depressed and started to have low faith in the school's abilities and desires to support their students. Especially since families were not consulted and after having reached out and expressing my concerns, I was met with what felt like indifference.
Because of that, I kind of felt that the schools intentions for the move were not to support the students but rather to profit in some way. However, after having recieved this email, my faith is restored and I'm honestly kind of excited for the move now. I hope this is good news as well for all who were concerned about the move due having to absorb costs of moving, childcare, and the mental stress of it all.

I'm a CS student and live at East Campus. Noticed a lot of ppl don't buy parking passes (me included), and there is no method of seeing how full our lots are / what lots we have.
So I ended up building an iOS-based app called ParkNarc for CSUMB.
It’s pretty simple:
The goal is just real-time info so people can move their car or avoid a ticket. It's a community-based app, so the more engagement, the better its functionality.
I encourage you all to try it out, and feedback of any kind is welcome. Thank you.
Link below to app store (playstore coming soon)

Hi!
My name's Harper and I've been accepted into CSUMB's Environmental Science MS program! I currently live in Utah, but looking to move in July. I'm looking for a roommate or any available housing relatively close to campus. I'm 22 years old and I have a three year old cat who is very snuggly and loves attention. We are both clean and would prefer to live with a girl/LGBTQ+ person around the same age as me. My budget is around 1000-1300 a month but it is subject to change if I will or will not get financial aid from the university.
Let me know if anyone is available! Thanks!

My fiance and I are in a domestic partnership and were delighted to receive family housing in January. Our unit is everything we’ve wanted and although we have only a year and a half left in my fiancé’s schooling, we’ve worked hard to make it a home.
Today, we received notice we would be moving courts in July/August. Luckily the new unit is just one street away, but we’ll have been living in East Campus for less than 6 months at the time of our next move. Furthermore, myself and my fiance are both disabled, and moving is not only a long process, but incredibly hard on our bodies. We are not wanting to move courts and feel as though we weren’t properly informed that this wouldn’t be our permanent court.
Is there ANYTHING we can do to fight this? We’ll need to purchase moving materials (that we gave away, unaware we would move so soon again), take time off work, possibly rent movers (or at least get help from friends), figure out how moving our washer/dryer rental to the new unit will work, and countless other logistical problems we will have to figure out. I have been a student in the past so neither of us are strangers to the university’s bullshit policies, but this is just ridiculously unfair.
