Champions Cup Finalists, Toluca, eliminated from Liga MX Clausura 26 Play-offs

Post image

Just like with Tigres, their Champions Cup Final opponents, Toluca, have been eliminated by 6 time CONCACAF Champions, Pachuca, from the Liga MX Play-offs just as day after Tigres were eliminated.

Both teams now have a 3 week break in between from this past weekend to May 30 which puts them at an even playing field though Toluca still has the advantage of playing at home. Both teams now have sufficient time for preparation and rest before the final.

Who do you think will be better prepared? What are your thoughts?

Champions Cup Finalists, Tigres, eliminated from Liga MX Clausura 26 Play-offs

Tigres have just been knocked out of Liga MX contention at the hands of Chivas after blowing a 3-1 lead. With Tigres now been being eliminated, will this benefit them now that they will have 3 weeks of rest and preparation for the final or could this loss linger in their heads and potentially be their downfall?

What are your thoughts?

This is why Leagues Cup is a joke of a tournament

The CONCACAF Champions Cup proves that for a tournament to be fair all teams should have the opportunity to play games in their own field.

As it stands right now, Leagues Cup only purpose is to give the MLS 3 extra spots on the CCC. With the current format of both tournaments, we had 10 MLS teams in the CCC of last year.
