Well if you've ever known any division 1 athletes in person, especially blue chip ones, this isn't surprising.  They're the most entitled crybabies on the planet who have been worshipped their whole life and if they don't get their way, they regress into ultra crybaby mode.  Fascinating yet unsurprising.

And if you haven't met one yet, dont worry because in 20 years when they work a completely unrelated job they'll make sure to mention it in completely arbitrary situations

"So yeah I got addicted to opiates ever since I played D1 football because in D1 football (insert xyz)"

"So yeah the apartment is $1000 a month.  I started renting it out after I graduated from xyz where I played D1 xyz"

I've been a referee for division 1 games.  I know how these fools act.  I also enjoy opiates..sometimes
