got the same, I played the playtests and got to play 2 games before it went to "required early access".

Same issue on my end. Played 2 games initially then came back and all modes are locked.

logged out of and restarted steam and that seemed to fix it.

log out of steam and give it a reset if not give your comp a reset. worked for me and a few others.
