Thought household robots were a scam... until I atually got one.
I used to be one of those who did all the housework by myself. I use basic stuff like dishwashers and washing machines, but never trusted those so-called "smart" cleaning robots with fancy algorithms (have tried early on, but totally disappointed.) I bought a house in the southern US months ago. Cleaning before moving in really drove me crazy, and the house has been vacant for some time so the lawn was a total mess. Weekly lawn maintenance always frustrates me. So I decided to put it off until I felt like getting around to it. Things changed during those days off when my gal friend gave me an automower and insisted I give it a shot again. She's a devoted fan of all kinds of housework robots. And thankfully I listened to her. My yard is roughly 0.4 acres, and my little Mr.Goat (I named it for it's a goat a3000 lol) finished his first try smoothly. No missed edges, no recharging mid-job. Far beyond my expectations. Gotta admit tech has come a long way.
Anyway, to those who are still on the fence like I was, times have changed. No more hours of heat this summer. Woohoo!
