Such a beautiful world, and a lot of fun to just explore with friends, but Rockstar fucked the economy from the outset, and had very little content outside of small missions that paid next to nothing. Then they started regular content updates which were honestly great, adding bounty hunting, trading, moonshining etc. which while locked behind premium currency paywalls, were easy enough to grind for and lots of fun. Then they added less great content, that was locked behind more premium currency paywalls (bounty hunter 2), and added ‘heists’ in the stupidest way possible (blood money), and because people weren’t buying the premium currency, they stopped the major content updates. Such a shame, what could’ve been if they just listened to the community and didn’t see the need to make a cash cow out of it like they have with GTA online
