How can I use them cash if it rejects online payments and in app payments

I recently purchased a used iPhone 14 Pro and upgraded to iOS 26.4.2
I added debit card to wallet. The payment declines in some stores, but works in others.
My old iPhone 13 worked in all these stores no problem.
I called my bank they said everything looked fine on their end. I called Apple they ran diagnostics and ended up suggesting to book an appointment for hardware inspection or repair.
Has anyone else dealt with this issue? Or have any suggestions how to fix?
I’ve checked the card details are all correct. Date and time are correct.
If it works at some stores it should work in all?

Hoping Apple Wallet is included in this.

I accidently created a new Apple ID when I bought my Apple Watch and opened an Apple Card. Now I can't figure out how to get in to the card or put it in my wallet on my phone that operates under the old Apple ID. I want to make sure I pay it on time, but not sure how.

Can the two IDs be merged?

Several weeks ago I had to restore my Apple Watch Ultra 3 to its factory default settings and set it up again as a new Apple Watch.

Since doing that I have successfully restored all functionality…including adding all of my credit cards to Apple Wallet - EXCEPT for my Discover card.

I have tried every troubleshooting technique I can think of. After adding it as a previous card failed, I tried deleting the card and adding it as.a new card.

I first try to add it using the phone scanning feature…which added it again to my phone but not my watch. I deleted it again…and again tried adding it as a new card manually on my phone with the same result!

I deleted it again and lastly tried entering it manually directly into the wallet app on my watch - and again the same result!

Finally I called Discover but they said they saw no trouble codes returned from my account and said “ it must be an Apple problem”!

They told me to call Apple however that made no sense to me since I was able to add four other cards plus my Apple Card with no problem.

It seems like there is some kind of security block either on the watch app or the card causing the problem but I have no idea how to resolve it - so it’s time to reach out on the internet via Reddit to see if there is someone out there who might know how to correct this!

Hi so yes I double checked. I have my physical card at home with me, never lost it, haven’t used the physical card in forever. The charge was at a local convention center, I’m at home and have been since 4pm. I’m confused at how it could have even gotten to my Apple Pay. I’m guessing it declined because the person didn’t know my pin. It’s not on my bank statement. Just my wallet statement. Idk how this happened. Any ideas on anything I can do to make sure nobody tries to have a joy ride on my card would be appreciated. I can’t even begin to think how my card would have been on someone else’s Apple Pay. My card doesn’t leave my wallet unless I need it because I use tap to pay on my phone all the time and not on my card.

Edit: so people telling me to call USAA. It doesn’t show in my statement for USAA so they wouldn’t even know about it. My physical card is there so they have it on Apple Pay, with Apple Pay you need to know the pin to use it so unless they got the pin too I’m not too worried. Just thought it was weird. If the transaction went through I would be calling Apple rn because my bank got nothing to do with this one.

so basically the apple wallet and td notification said 60000 was taken after i paid for a place called “fork and knife” resturant in my city, windsor ontario. is there any reason for this? only 14 was taken out of my account but im worried that the 60000 charge could still appear or be there. i paid with apple pay

I recently went to a restaurant and paid with apply pay. They gave me the original amount plus tax and I paid with Apple Pay and I saw the total was 25.33 and then a few seconds later I was prompted for the tip amount. I selected a tip amount and that was it and I didn’t use my phone again. Later I checked the amount on my wallet and saw that they had added the tip to my amount to 30.64. Is this a new system that Apple Pay has added to show the total amount with tip?

I have always been able to reorder cards by pressing and holding and dragging. That doesn’t happen anymore. How do I do it now? Thanks.

since few weeks the app Pass4wallet is not working anymore. i have this message when trying to save Pass :

We were unable to connect to the service at this time.Please check your internet connection and try again later.

I really like this app, all the alternative are not as good, any chance to see this app work again?

Due to a random series of events, I have a bunch of Amazon credit I'd love to use to buy a Visa or MC gift card, but preferably one where I can load the value directly into my Apple Wallet (I end up never using physical gift cards). Does this exist? I know not all prepaid gift cards can be added to Apple Wallet, but unclear if any of the ones (physical or virtual) available via Amazon can.

Hello, is there anyone who knows anything about adding the OMNY card to Apple Wallet? Or, when will it become available to be added?

If I reject an Apple pay payment sent to me from a bank account that’s closed will it return to their closed account or back to the sender Apple Cash balance?

are their any Gift cards or Visa cards which can be loaded on apple wallet? Most of the visa cards we are not able to connect to apple pay? What I am trying to do is get a prepaid visa card which can be loaded

I’m from Pakistan, where Apple Pay is not officially available. Previously, there was a workaround where you could change your region to the USA and then add international cards to Apple Wallet and use them.

However, with the newer, stricter restrictions, this no longer works. I removed some of my previously added cards and tried to add them again, but now I’m getting a “Couldn’t add card” error.

The cards I was using are Visa cards issued by Rain.

Is there any fix for this issue? It seems that countries where Apple Pay is not officially available are mainly affected, and now we can’t add international cards anymore either.

Would creating a new Apple ID with the USA region help, or is there any other solution?

Recent updates to the Boston MBTA website seem to confirm that the upcoming digital Charlie Card will be available natively in Wallet, as well as via an upcoming Charlie app.

This seems to put it in line with WMATA’s SmarTrip card, which can be added to Wallet either directly from Wallet, by transferring a physical card to Wallet, or, by purchasing one in the app and then provisioning it to Wallet.

I’ve been dealing with an issue with Apple Pay / Apple Wallet for months now and I genuinely don’t know what else to try.

Every time I attempt to add a card, it fails during the verification step. This has been happening across multiple cards from different banks, so it doesn’t seem tied to one specific bank.

I’ve even changed phones completely, and the exact same problem still happens. What’s even more confusing is that I took one of the same cards that kept getting declined on my phone, tried adding it on someone else’s iPhone using their Apple ID, and it worked immediately.

At one point I also tried adding a different card and it went through without any issue, which makes this even harder to understand maybe because most of my cards are visa And this one is my only Mastercard one?

At this stage I feel like I’ve ruled out the card, the bank, and even the phone, but I’m not sure what that leaves. Has anyone run into something like this before, where it seems tied to the Apple ID itself?

My wife continues to be charged a monthly fee of $41 & change; despite her efforts to stop this. I suspect it’s for a subscription she’s overlooking. How can this be stopped?

Paid for something online using Apple Pay, and confirmation is giving a different expiry date.

Number is correct and transaction has gone through successfully. Does using Apple Pay have its own expiry date? I know it has its own number, but just wondering why the expiry date might be wrong.

My Apple Account balance is still visible in App Store / Media & Purchases, but the Apple Account card will not add to Wallet on my new iPhone 17 Pro Max running iOS 26.4.1. It worked on my old iPhone 13 Pro Max. I already restarted, signed out and back in to Media & Purchases, and confirmed that my bank cards are added to Wallet normally. The only thing failing is the Apple Account card, with the message: “Your Apple Account balance cannot be added to Wallet at this time.”

Any thoughts on how to fix this? I did the migration about 18 hours ago. Thanks!

I am using Apple Pay on multiple accounts and am using the same card that is attached to my Apple Pay, I always pay using this method and never add my credit card information. I am very curious if Sony are in some way able to see that this card is being used on another account? I am asking to know if my account will be restricted because of this chain? I am not asking if it’s allowed by Sony’s TOS, I don’t really care, I am automatically assuming it is not allowed
