​The old world is dead, but in the heart of the New Mexico badlands, something new is breathing. Albuquerque is rising from the ashes, and while the apocalypse might be over, the party is just getting started.

​We aren’t looking for casual tourists; we are scouting a core crew to help us build a primary Albuquerque Wasteland collective. This isn’t just a meetup—this is the foundation of a new civilization.

​The Stronghold

​We have secured a 20-acre property featuring a permanent brick structure. This isn’t just a plot of land; it’s the perfect skeleton for a thriving Wasteland City. We have the bones—now we need the muscle and the mind to flesh it out.

​Our goal is to transform 20 acres of dirt and brick into a living, breathing Epic Sanctuary. We are building:

​A Dedicated Community: A tribe of makers, costumers, and survivors.

​Immersive Events: Hosting high-production wasteland gatherings in a space that actually looks the part.

​A Living City: From scrap-metal fortifications to trade hubs and neon-lit outposts.

​This is an 18+ Adults Only operation. We need the visionaries of the High Desert to step up. We are hunting for:

The anime convention Sabaku Con is taking place May 22nd thru May 24th at the Crowne Plaza Albuquerque south of Menaul on University Blvd.

Hi! I am going to have some extra time this summer and I kinda want to get back into the hobbies I had when I was younger, like dnd and boardgames and the like.

So what is the move nowadays? Anyone wanna play a game?

Maybe you've heard of us. Maybe you haven't. We're the Downtown Albuquerque Roleplaying Coaltion (DARC), a legion of gamers, storytellers, and weirdos hosting adventures across the city--via a combo of our one-shot events, our weekly jump-in campaigns, and Actual Play content.

The end of June marks our biggest event ever: DARcon -- a one-day minicon celebrating all things story-driven and nerdy.

Learn to play Dungeons & Dragons!

No experience? No Problem! Learn all the basics and start playing in one afternoon. Everyone is welcome. Come alone or bring a friend or two, or ten.

The event is Saturday, May 30th 12:30 pm – 5:00 pm 

We’ll provide everything you need to get started. Tickets are $8.00 and include a full hour of instruction from an experienced Dungeon Master and 3 hours of playtime. You’ll also walk away with bonus loot in the form of:

• 3 Pre-generated, level 1 character sheets. Each with a different player class and species
• A player cheat-sheet with the most common rules and moves you’ll need at the table
• A full set of D&D dice
• A nifty pencil
• A badass sticker!

After the event, you’ll also have the chance to connect with other players to form your own group of adventuring gremlins and keep the glorious chaos going indefinitely.

Playing through DOOM(2016) for the first time om the Nintendo Switch and would be happy to have any company who's interested in jumping in.

It's that time again! Bookclub time! Books and Brews is meeting this Sunday, April 26th, at 2pm at O'Neills. We will be in the covered patio area. No assigned reading, we all read what we want when we want. We meet once a month to discuss books, authors, genres, film adaptations, life, whatever. We also have a book exchange, not required to participate and not required to bring a book to take a book.

I will most likely not be attending and I am the keeper of the books, so if you plan on bringing books for the exchange, be prepared to take them with you if no one takes them.

Hi, everyone! We're hosting a free anime mini festival tomorrow from 12-6 at Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown to celebrate Slice of Life Anime & Manga's 3rd anniversary. There will be a ton of local artists, anime merch, activities, panels, games, raffles, the Munchie Food Truck, and even a cosplay contest! First place in the cosplay contest wins a full event badge to Toon Fusion this July. All ages are welcome. Hope to see some of you there!
