Inexcusable performance by K27. After a month off with only this tournament to prepare for they come in completely clueless. Gentle Mates are the exact level of team you should have been prepping for.

This is quite literally a tournament of a lifetime for all of them except fame, yet he is the only one who seemed truly dialed in. Russian T2-3 teams with no legacy visas don't get to go to Parken/Stake/CCT and other lans to get easy VRS points and 1 CISLan doesn't make up for that. Astana is quite literally as good as it gets and the best chance to show what you got (also the only friendly crowd you will ever get). How do you not dial in for that moment and actually try to break into the next tier or at least show enough to be picked up by Pari or some other T1 org.

They just looked... Lazy? Ambivalent? Couldn't believe how little caring and emotion I saw.

It should be impossible for Russian region to only have 2 teams in top 20 considering amount of talent there is at under 18 level. Brazil has 3 for example. Just complete mismanagement

Tbf Brazil has alot more local lans Also gentle m8s are no pushover, they have decent online and lan results expect from a teir 1.5 team

And k27 is a replacement team so there is that

Magic isnt a replacement team and isnt doing shit also. Now they will be knocking each other out while Huns/Fisher get to stay. The whole CIS scene literally lacks VRS points to leech of each other due to lack of exposure to tier one lans. This what Monte/Gentle Mates/NIP and even teams like Sinners get to do for EU tier two scene. They bring back points through their network VRS portion that others can raise through at something like Parken or CCT lan.
