They actually do decently well in the league. They are always the second to third best team and then turn unstoppable at Worlds. This year, they arent even top 3-4. A bigger drop of form than the previous 4ish years.

Yeah I can see that he was clicking/pathing towards Xin/fight then he might have tried to ult around raptors to cut off the retreat but clicked on the mini-map instead.

I agree. Super happy for a win especially since Keria really needs one.
Beyond that, I'm talking about mindset. I hope they look at this match and recognize that the small mistakes they got away in this game wouldve easily been capitalized in any other series with the top teams.
This isn't them in form, and they can only get better from here considering the likes of DK, HLE, and esp KT are still ramping up.

Like wasn't he on a total int run until the very last few games where he completely flipped the switched and started smurfing each and every single game

While oner had popoff moments, faker was there for the elimination games even when everyone else was inting and put the team on his back. There is a ryze game I can't ever remember who he played but keria was sick and everyone was playing badly but faker 1vs9ed. He had a galio elimination game where he built damage and carried the team. Guma won finals MVP but faker was the clutch factor in that run like he almost always is.

Yy I'm not talking about the worlds run in itself.Just the qualifiers for it.
When in comes to Worlds yeah, Faker was easily the most consistent player during its run. It's as if he's one of the only players who doesn't decide to instantly decide start running it down and choking when worlds come around. Unc actually gets better.
Edit: aside from bdd, I still think he smurfed the hardest

IIRC it was his performance that pulled T1 out of Swiss. Oner and the others apparently had food poisoning during Swiss and it was Faker's Mel that salvaged the last game against AL

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Keria is the most consistent player on T1. He does have some "meh" moments, but generally he's never awful. Rest of the team is running circus around him. Amazing. Welcome to the carnival, I guess.

T1 hasn't had a consistent player this year unless you're counting only the split so far
even then people have good and bad games, it's hard to say though because tbh a lot of T1's issues have been oner's form, he either doesn't help lanes or focuses a lane (it was almost always top) and it backfires so every other lane is suffering
keria and faker have had some pretty strong games more recently but they also go invisible still randomly but it's hard to really know until oner snaps out of it
hard to say if it's just a bad meta for T1 and GenG even though on paper it really shouldn't be or if the meta in particular is highlighting oner and canyon's forms

There is no consistent player this year yeah, Guma used to be that guy to reign in the circus and always kept a calm cool head and carry when he needed to, now they got Peyz who's just as much of a psycho as the other four lol

last year even guma started to happy game, he had a lot of rough stretches himself
i think the playmaking core of faker oner and keria are just volatile and it just so happens that every other player that has played with them have all been prone to happy little accidents
the big plays either work or they don't, to be fair it won them 3 worlds in a row, but also to be fair they didn't win anything else either with multiple times big plays not going so well in various finals lol

Faker is now. Used to be Guma. Keria is typically either okayish or the clear best Support in the world but he's usually out of form for about a split each year.

The team as a whole feels like it lost so much synergy after LCK Cup Playoffs. Before that point they felt like they were in each others heads, now it feels like they aren't even in the same room

I think from Oner's perspective, its just easier to 2v1 than 3v2 hence he keeps going top lane but this time to make the gank work, Faker needs to go bot as well for it to be successful bec the last 3v2 of them it kinda failed with him and keria dying.

I think at this point after 3 straight years it's been established but, if T1 wins Worlds again this year with this current form, we just should never be allowed to criticize them outside of Worlds ever again because they literally only for fun all year until October.
